My 1 year old daughter has a wart on the bottom of her foot. The Dr. doen't seem to be concerned about it but it keeps getting bigger. Does anyone know how I can treat it?

Warts are actually a virus and wont go away unless they're ready. You can treat them but they will grow bakc if they don't want to leave. You can go to the chemist and get wart off or a wart thing just ask the pharmicist. You just use pumice to file it a wee bit but the wart off on and let it dry once or twice a day till it goes away.

The Dr. told me to use Duct tape to get rid of my sons warts!!!...just cover the patch with the duct tape and leave till falls off, keep recovering till it goes away, replace everyother day or whenever falls off (should take about 2 weeks)

My 5 yr old daughter had a plantar's wart on the bottom of her foot. The podiatrist gave her a RX to treat it. We treated it for a week and it's now gone.

My daughter had warts on her hands and my ex wanted them frozen/burned off, but the doctor prescribed Tagament - the acid reflux medication. Apparently, in high doses, one of the side effects is that it kills warts.

Dr.Scholl's has a product called Clear Away wart remover. It is a home product so you can use it on her. I sugest scence she is so young to cover it with a bandage after it sets. It dosen't hurt I have used it on myself and my son he has a planter wart on his foot. You have to kill the root to get rid of it. It will take a while and she may get tired of a bandage on her foot. Good luck.

A fantastic natural remedy is garlic.  Cut a sliver of fresh garlic, and place it directly on the wart.  Cover it with a band-aid.  You have to put fresh garlic on every day.  Actually, I did it just before bed with my boys, took it off in the morning, and new garlic on at night.  After 3-5 days, the wart will be gone.  There may still be a minor skin reaction wheere the wart was, but that heals quickly.

I had this issue with my son for like two to three years! I was getting so frustrated with the dermatologist visits. Finally, someone recommended that I give my son multi-vitamins and they worked! I can't say how long it was before I noticed results because one day I noticed they were almost all peeled off! I just went out and got him the Flintstones Vitamins and regretted not doing it sooner! Good Luck!

My son has a big wart on his finger...I asked my doctor what to do and this works! Cut a piece of duct dape to fit the wart...place it on the wart. Cut like that medical tape to hold it in place...keep it on for a week then take it off. Take pumis stone and scrape off all that dead skin until its almost raw then just cut another piece of tape to fit and repeat the process...do that for about 4 weeks and it should be gone. The doctor said this method makes the body realize there's a problem and it will try to fix it. My son has been doin this for almost 2 weeks and its amazing. All the seeds have come to the surface. Also, he has 3 other little warts and they are going away too without any treatment.
