each pregnancy is different, it may seem easier cause you have an idea what to expect but each comes with its own share of surprises, just the way the children are different

yes my first was very easy no morning sickness, no nothing i was healthy in every way and the baby was healthy in everyway also the whole time during my pregnancy, labor was fairly simple no pain till my water broke but didnt take long after that my little boy appeared and i know every pregnancy is different do you think genectic...ie meaning...ur mothers labor was similar to urs? mine was similar to my mothers anyone else have that happen?

all pregnancies are different. in my case my FIRST was simple. my second was a little worse and this one sucked.
alot of people i know their first was the hardest.

every pregnancy is different, i had my firsat at eighteen and my second pregnancy followed soon after, i would say that to carry her was harder but i think that was down to picking up and running around after my first child, emotionally i was more aware of how i fealt and as always worried like any pregnant women do... in all i would say that to carry a second time you are just more aware of what your going to go through as you have already experienced it, if you are strong and healthy try not let it bother you. good luck and all the best

For me my second pregnancy was easier from the standpoint that most of my symptoms and such were pretty similar and I knew what to expect the second time around so it made it a little easier to deal with everything. The one thing that was harder the 2nd time was coming home from work, wanting to crash on the couch, but instead had to take care of a little toddler (ie. my 1st child). Mine are 26 months apart in age so for most of my pregnancy my 1st child was either not quite 2 or had just just turned 2. They can be rather demanding at that age and dealing with that and a pregnancy at the same time isn't the easiest thing in the world.

So far for me its been worse! Lets see how the following months are though

Harder! You will get every answer different on this subject and it just depends on so many factors. I was 23 with my first pregnancy and 36 with my second. Many factors changed. The first time I had a lot of exercise and was well, young! The second time was more stress, more work hours, less exercise. The weights for both myself and my kids did not vary by much, but my second felt heavier and I had much more cramping, a much harder delivery (she was turned face up instead of face down) and more stress.

In some ways it's easier because you know what to expect. Each pregnancy is different though so you may have had a great easy one the first time, but with the second you may have morning sickness or other issues.

my second was sooo easy! i didn't worry about every little thing and i was able to enjoy it. the delivery was easier too cuz i knew when i was in labor and i knew what to expect and do. the only thing i really noticed was the after pains were way worse than my first.

i thought the second time was harder because i couldn't sleep or rest when i wanted. I felt sick but i still had to get up everyday and be a mummy to my first. I also felt quite guilty about bringing another child into our family and worried about having enough love to share around for most the pregnancy. My second child is the most wonderful blessing and he completes our family so it was all worth it.

My first pregnancy and birth was really easy!! My second was crazzy I was always dizzy so had to stay in bed all the time!! My second c-section was the worst as well!

Personally I think it was easier... maybe not physically, but definitely mentally. The first pregnancy I was so afraid and unsure about what was going to happen. The second seemed like a breeze, mostly because I knew what to expect.

I have had three pregnancies, two girls one boy. The boy is my second child, my pregnancy was completely different then the other two but the delivery was the quickest of all three. I found it very hard to look after a 3year old while I was pregnant but after a while I figured out a schedule that worked best for me. Keep trying different routines until you find one that is suitable for you and your child. Don't be afraid to ask for help or time away.

My 2nd pregnancy was difficult in different ways than my 1st pregnancy - I had high blood pressure with both pregnancies, but with my 2nd one I had very little nausea, where with my first I was nauseated the entire pregnancy right through to delivery. The 2nd pregnancy was easier physically in some ways, but harder in others because I had a toddler to deal with where with the 1st one of course it was just me to worry about. I think it depends on your body, your situation and your resources whether a 2nd pregnancy will be easier or harder.

I think i heard in class that every pregnancy is different

I depends i guess on what your first pregnancy was like. For me i found that the second pregnancy was easier, only because i had some sort of idea of what to expect, i wasnt stressing all the time wondering if things were ok or not. I personally think that the second is easier, but when it came time and i went into labour, it was a totally different experience for me. I knew that i was having contractions and i knew what was coming, and i have to say i was a lot more relaxed because i knew what pain to expect and what it all felt like before and after bubs was born. I just think that with your first pregnancy or labour, you dont know exactly what to expect and so you are a bit more on edge and wondering if everthing is ok and you only go on what someone has breifly told you or something, but i found with the second time, you knew what was going on and so i was able to relax and let it all happen i guess. I hope it helps :)

Personaly, having my first child at barely the age of 18 it was much easier then when I had my second child over 5 years later. I had become more in-tuned to my body, had abused my body physically broken bones, etc., and seemed to have had more of an emotional roller coaster feeling while in my second pregnancy. However, once it was all over and I welcomed my new baby girl into this world we all share it was a complete 360 as far as emotions are concerned. Hope this help's and god bless you and your growing family. Welcome your baby to the new year, 2010, with lot's of hug's and kisses when you get to hold him.
