My daughter was sorta planned. We'd been trying for exactly a year. We started trying October 9, 2010 and didn't get pregnant until October 9, 2011. The reason I know this is because we'd decided that day to start trying after a few scares. Then we were about to give up (I was told I might never be able to get pregnant in March of 2011) A couple weeks after giving up, I got really tired. Then a month later I couldn't keep anything down...turns out I was pregnant

My first pregnancy, my daughter was planned. We tried and tried for a year until finally...I was pregnant. With my son, he was more of a surprise but I love them both with all my heart. They are both grown.

Total suprise lol I'd been off the pill 4 months after being told I was infertile and couldn't get pregnant but God had His hand on things and my boy is an utter delight! We've had 4 MCs that weren't planned and we're TTC number 2 starting this month so that'll be planned and I hope it happens as fast as some of you!

a surprise, but a very very good one. id been having unprotected sex for 2 years exactly so when my partner and i got back together of course we didnt use anything didnt think there was a need. because of our history we'd already started talking about having a baby since we were trying first time around. we decided in a few months we'd start trying properly. i just didnt think it would happen anyway i was under the impression we'd need IVF he had even been tested to check that he was fertile. we got back together in July 07 then in late august i was shocked to find out i was pregnant! i had ignored the missed period, sickness and the positive pregnancy test from the week before thinking it was wrong due to my prior difficulties in conceiving but i thought id better do another pregnancy test just to make sure since i am still late and it was positive. this is the time when i actually beleived it i was on my lunch break at work and was so so happy. when i told my now fiance he was going to be a daddy he was shocked to say the least !

My boys were planned but my daughter was a total surprise i was in an accident and ii had recieved head injuries but i was unable to get the cat scan when they did a pregnancy test they told me i was so shocked i didnt know what to do but i love everything about that shock

First pregnancy was a surprise. Happened on our honeymoon but we misscarried so our next one happened planned a few months later and when she was 5 months got pregnant again unplanned but not prevented so wasnt to much of a surprise. 3 months along now and excited to have them so close. 14 months apart!

My daughter was super planned too and happened first time. I know what day I conceived too and I knew I was pregnant before I did the test because I was not feeling right.

Unplanned x2.- We made plans and God laughed. And blessed us with healthy kids both times. The first one I was on the Pill, and saw my husband only 3 times that year- I came home on leave from the Navy and saw a Royals game Fourth of July weekend 2000. Went back to the ship and got seasick for the first time! I came home again five months pregnant for Thanksgiving! My husband was one of four men in his office whose child was conceived while the wife was on the pill. We had the only boy- the other 3 had girls! We got our girl with the 2nd unplanned pregnancy from being on the patch!
Second child was on the Patch.

I went to buy a Lab as an exercise partner b/c i couldn't loose weight. 3 weeks after i brought home the lab I visited my family doc for upset stomach, and we told my son he was going to be a big brother!

First two were planned because we were "trying". The 2nd even had to take some fertility meds to help get pregnant. It worked on the 1st try. Third is sorta planned and sorta a surprise. We tried for 2 years to get pregnant and no luck. A year and a half of that was with failed infertility help. Then all the sudden after we had stopped trying for about 8 months I was pregnant all on my own. It was a nice surprise since we didn't think it would happen again but we weren't preventing anything either, so I guess you can't really say it's a complete surprise. However, our daughter was stillborn. I worried that we wouldn't get another chance again after all of that and with all of the problems and complications. But after only having one cycle after her death we were blessed with another surprise and miracle. Again, we were not preventing but still never in a million years thought it would happen. Atleast never that fast and without "trying" to do the deed at my fertile time and such. Plus, I've always had trouble ovulating, so to ovulate the first time around, WOW. So, now we are waiting our 4th miracle due in October. I think we are DONE now unless we have one of those completely unexpected surprises! haha

My husband and I both new we were going to have children in the future, but we didn't expect it to be in very near future! So I guess that our son was more of a surprise then anything planned out thouroughly.

We planned on having our baby. We tried for about a year before getting pregnant. We ended up getting real frustrated, so when we found out i was preg, it was still a surprise

Mine was a surprise... i was actually on birthcontrol~Nuva ring~ at the time and my fiance didn't beleive that i could be that .1% but i was and i wouldn't change a thing

Mine was like Monica, planned but sooner than expected. I had just gotten off the birth control pills, and just a couple weeks after, my husband made me take a test because I was complaining about smells and being "emotional" he said. I didn't think I could be pregnant so quick, but I was!

It was a surprise because we were told we wouldn't be able to get pregnant! We had been trying for a long time before that..but never got pregnant. hubby went in for testing, found out there were problems on both of our sides...we stopped trying and were looking into adoption...then we got pregnant! We also had an appt with a fertility specialist scheduled..and we happily had to cancel it before the appointment! but it was by a few weeks! Then when this baby was about 8-9 mo old.. got pregnant again with my 2nd! Double blessings!! :)

hmmm my daughter was a surprise but not really.... she wasnt planned... we werent trying so to speak... but it was bound to happen, so it wasnt a complete shock.

Both my children were surprises. My first I was on the pill and on a working holiday, luckily it happened with my really supportive bf of 4 years who always wanted for us to have children and to get married so getting pregnant hurried us along..and the second i know the date of conception because it was the one time we didn't use a condom. I have been blessed with two "accidents" :)

My son was a total surprise. I was on the pill (ortho tricycline). I was almost 2 full months along before I broke down and finally went to the doctor. I knew something wasn't right when my grandma made one of my favorite foods and I couldn't even eat it b/c it made me almost puke with the very first bite and even today I sometimes have a hard time eating it. My son was my miracle child and wouldn't trade him for the world even on the days he is at his naughtiest. I was born with a rare birth defect that doctors didn't see a problem with me getting pregnant but weren't 100% if I could carry a baby so he is truly a blessing

my husband and i planned to get pregnant. i was on the birth control pill and had been taking it for many years. we decided that i would stop taking it and just let things happen. well i got pregnant the first time we had sex after i was off the pill. i know exactly what day my son was conceived. it was a couple of weeks before we actually found out i was pregnant. i did take a pregnancy test about one week after we first had sex once i was off the pill and it was negative. i was so excited to see if i got pregnant. then i was at work one day and i just had a feeling that i was pregnant so i rushed out and bought another pregnancy and rushed home to take it and it was confirmed. when my husband came home and i told him...he thought i was being silly for taking another test but was super excited when i told him i showed him the positive test. i was super shocked that someone could get pregnant so fast especially when being on the pill for quite a few years. i had even bought a book "the fastest way to get pregnant naturally" lol guess i didnt need it! my son is now 7 weeks old

Completely and total surprise. I was on birth control [Ortho Evra Tri-Cyclen Lo] and we had used protection but needless to say, my little miracle baby was born 9 months later! I even had taken pregnancy tests throughout my pregnancy since I didn't feel "right" and they were all negative. Wasn't until I was 5 months pregnant when my son moved that I figured out really fast why I thought I had a month long case of the flu! LOL

My son was totally planned... sort of. My husband and I were trying to conceive for about 18 months. And we tried a lot. Did ovulation charting and all that, but with no luck. We were pretty upset about it, and agreed to stop what we had been doing and schedule an appointment with a fertility specialist to find out what was wrong. I was waiting on my next cycle, and it never came. Turned out we didn't need the appointment, I was finally pregnant. The excitement was unlike anything I'd felt before!
