Take her in the bathroom. Turn the shower on in the hottest temperature. Sit in the steam with her for about 15-20 minutes. That should clear it up. If not take her to a different doctor.

If it is just a cold g wih what they said. But if this is happening all the time try to get a nebullizer. When my son was a baby he was coughing and snoty all the time. His dad has asthma and algries and I always asked if that is what it could be but they would not diagnose him with that till he was two. After yet another trip to the ER they gave me the macine. Altho I think it was the house we were livng in. He was a very sick little boy for the first 3 yrs of his life. I ave moved 2 times ad after the first move already he has been fine. He is 5. I did'nt mean to ramble and this may not be the problem but wanted to give you the info just incase

same - humidifier but I used lemon oil (its a little gentler on them that eucalyptus or peppermint) but any of the three will do aslong as they are real essential oils (dont use fragrant oils they can make things worse)

i've used a humidifyer (? spelling) and put drops of eucalyptus in it. I'm sure peppermint essential oil would work to. Good luck!

You could try a cool-mist humidifier to make sure the air in your home isn't too dry - that can trigger coughing in anyone, especially babies. Also if there are any potential allergy triggers in your home/area (dust, pollen, etc) you could see if you need to change furnace filters or things like that in your home. If the cough persists I would take her back to your pediatrician, especially if the cough goes on for several days.
