my little boy is 8 in 3 mouths and has not lost any baby teeth yet and all he wants is for the tooth fairy to vist what age do they norm fall out they seem to be taking ages and no sign of new ones at all

I think it must vary. My oldest didn't lose her first tooth until she was almost 6. My youngest lost her first a few months after turning 5.

By age 12 I still hadn't lost all my baby teeth and had to get 12 pulled in one day. Every kid is different. Give him some time. :-)

Any thing doing with teeth is heriderity. So it depends upon you and your husband. It can even go back a generation. I still have 4 "baby teeth" as an adult and my daughter is missing 2 of her adult teeth at 12. My son had 2 baby teeth that where fused and his dad had that. My 5 yr old is just now getting a lose tooth.

Hi there, my daughter lost her first baby tooth at the age of 4 going on 5 however, she is now 12 and still has a few of her baby teeth, according to our dentist there is no hard rule of thumb regarding the loss of baby teeth just as long as you have annual check-ups with the dentist to ensure that the teeth stay health.

My son lost his first teeth at five years old- apparently, his dad lost teeth at an early age too. I would say that typically children begin losing teeth in first grade. I wouldn't worry though- but if you are worrying (cause moms do!) maybe ask your dentist during your son's next appt.

This was a topic of discussion at gymnastics last week--someone's niece was 3 and lost their first baby tooth but the same woman's 9 year old daughter had not lost any. The dentist said not to stress over it that anywhere between 3-10 was considered normal!

My daughter is in Pre. Kindergarten and two of her friends lost their teeth. SO yeah.. reach the age of 5 and let it begin!!!

My neice has only just started losing her teeth and sh will be 8 in march, then my nephew who has only just turned 5 has 2 issing already, i cant tell you when they should lose them becuse i dont really know either but im sur they will come when ready!!!
