How about something like Holli Jean. I thunk that is cute and unique. All the others are also very nice.

I am all about easy pronouncable and most importingly easy spellings. No one wants to have their name misspelled every single time they go some where. Everywhere I go, especially as a kid people always said: 'So, what's your name short for?' I got SO tired of saying, Oh, it's just Annie.

What I think, if you want a name ending in I, it is to choose an actual name ending in I traditionally and not change Hayley to Hayli.

Throwing this out there ... does anyone have any good ideas for full time employment for single mothers that allows them to spend more time with their children? Teaching is an obvious example. Are there other professions, as well that pay enough to support a family but allow more time off?

I am so glad my mother spelled my middle name the feminine way, Jeanne. Do you want the first name to end with the sound of a long 'i', or is it the spelling you want to be an 'i'? If is is just a spelling issue, you can change many name's spelling. If it is the sound of long "i" you want, that is a lot harder. Skye is the only name I can think of. Good luck.

I know how you feel nicki and Laura, I feel old looking at the cute names too, not many are my taste, even though when I was young I decided to have my name with an I to be different...(mind you I dont think Salli is. a cute name with an I or a Y) ..but now there are so many that it's not different it's kind of different now to have the original spelling of a name, and while I like cute names I wouldnt give my girls" cute" names.....

Nicki I'm only 23 and I would also reject nearly every suggestion lol. Naomi and Heidi are like the only names ending in I that I'd consider. I'm not into the cutsie stripper type names.
