Oh, this is so special - I was blessed and lucky enough to have one of my twins smile at me in the same way just as a picture was taken of them being breastfed. (1979) Dare I post the picture?

When my children come running to me after a long day of work & school, they are so happy to see me! Or when they say "I love you" There is no other love that I would rather have in this world than the love of my children. I also love how my 2 year old tells me to "sing that song mommy" (i make up little songs for each of my children) & he will just randomly come up to me asking me to sing it :)

For me it's when I get off work and go pick up the kids. As soon as I walk in the door they all come running as fast as they can yelling "MOMMY!!!" The older two in front and the baby right behind them crawling and smiling. One of the other parents got mad before and said "gosh they act like you're a superstar." All I could do was laugh. Don't hate because my babies love me. To them I am a superstar!

I love seeing my 6 week old girl smile. She loves to have her diaper changed, odd huh, and she just lays there and smiles while I talk to her.

when i make her laugh that cute little baby laugh (she's 16 months, and laughs alot). or when i say "can i have a kiss?" and she leans over, to either offer her forehead or her lips for a kiss, then gets that shy sweet happy look on her face after. or when she wants to cuddle, and walks up to me and says "up?" so i will put her in my lap, and she lays her head on my chest. or when she does something new, or something she was asked to do, and claps with pride that she did it. and i TOTALLY love when she dances, especially when she dances to my horrible singing. or when she reaches for me when she's scared, or uncertain, or hurt, and i know i am her safe place. She's with her dad right now...and thinking of all this makes me miss her like crazy!!!!

I love it when her face lights up and she puts the biggest smile on just because I walked into the room and shes happy to see me. Also when she is feeling a little uncertain or uncomfortable she doesnt want to be with anyone but mummy and it about the only time shes really into hugging so I get to give her lots of cuddles :)

for me it was the other day, my little one just wouldn't sleep so i left him with his 9 year old brother on my bed playing watching tv.half an hour later all was quiet so i went to check and they were curled up asleep together

no seriously...my son pulls my earlobe and sucks his thumb when he's sleepy and every once in a while, my daughter looks over at me and winks (the boy is 6 and the girl is 8) I love especially hearing I love you for no reason

as im writing this, my kids (girl 6y/o and boy 4y/o) are fighting over what cartoon channel to watch on TV, when i've already told them about twenty times that they should be taking their nap already. Im near to insanity, but i just took a deep breath, bent over my kids, smelled them (cheeks, necks, backs, hair, hands) and I am reminded again that theyre the best things that ever happened to my life. And that, my friends, is just one of moments that truly make happy and feel blessed for being a mom.

my 18 year old who's horrible about letting me know when she's going to be home just texted to say she's on her way home, 1/2 hour out. OMG! Its a miracle!



I've been working on call for the past month and get to see my two teeangers passing ships in the night. Friday morning, I found a note written, "I love you mom" written in colored pencil with a drawing of a heart stuffed in my purse. I found it when I got to work and hung it up right next to my computer.



Teenage years can be tough on you and your kids.....but these are the moments I love being a mom.

When my 13 month old daughter wakes up in the morning, reaches up and puts her hand on my face. It's like she's saying, "mommy wake up". When I open my eyes, she's lying there smiling at me and every time I just feel like crying with joy. Sniff sniff, it's making me tear up just thinking about it.

My 2 year old just started talking in sentences. she often comes up to me, and says "I love you momma, hold me please. kiss, hug." its the sweetest thing. I can't help but pick her up and give her a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.

I love every waking moment with my son logan. My absoulte most memorable moment was when they put the beatiful screaming slimy baby on my lap. Once he was cleaned up and warm he looked at me with his beatiful deep blue eyes and just stared at me. I will never forget that day it changed my life forever. he is now 19 almost 20 mnths old and is the most amazing child. He drives me nuts,pushes every button I have but every night when I tuck him in to his big boy bed he looks at me with those eyes like he did 19 months ago and says mommy mmmm. Which to logan mmmm is kiss. I think the best thing about being a mom now is seeing how much they change everyday, when he says a new word almost everyday,when he comes up with his crinkled up face saying ow wants me to kiss his owwie. Even though I'm only 20 yrs old my son has changed everything I believed when it came to life. I will never change a moment of my life!

Every morning when I wake up (usually at the same time or a couple of mins before my 2 month old daughter wakes) I say "Good Morning" to my daughter Autumn and she gives me this huge smile as almost to say "Good Morning Mom" It makes my day : )

When I am breastfeeding my 3 month old son and he looks up at me with his big blue eyes breaks away from my nipple long enough to give me a big gummy smile and sometimes a giggle then starts to feed again.I can see in his eyes that he is happy and loves me it makes my heart sing.Also when my eldest son was alive at 16 he said that He thought I was a great Mom,thanked me and said that he hoped that the distant future mother of his kids would be as good.That made me so happy I cried and gave him a big hug which confused him because he couldn't understand why that would make me cry when it was supposed to make me smile.Being a single mom was hard and to get a Thank you from him made every moment of being his Mom even more special.

For me it was hearing my kids say mommy for the first time anything your kids do thats new will make you sao appy to be a mum.My kids are 15 14 and 11 now but the little things they achieved as babys like walking for the first time the first time they crawled first dry night are things i will never forget

Every day when I pick up my 1 1/2 year old out of bed. I get a huge smile just by saying good morning, then he wraps his arms around me and gives me a big kiss. I don't know if there's anything sweeter in life...

The other day I was singing I told you so by Carried Underwood in the car and I looked back and my 5 yr old was crying and I asked her why. She said because that was so pretty mommy you sing like an Angel. It's moments like these that I love being a mom cause my children do things to make me feel like the greatest person in the world and I know that I am in their eyes! I love that.

I love it when my son and I snuggle and watch t.v.When I hug him,he gives this contented sigh,like there's no place he'd rather be than in his Mommy's arms!He's ten now and I know I won't be getting that for much longer.Gosh,I can't tell you how much I'm going to miss those sighs!
