My husband and I are expecting a baby in October, however it is too early to determine the sex yet. I already have a daughter, so my husband and I still have some names picked out...we like not-so-traditional, but not freakish. Our picks: Logan, Mason, Graysen, Ethan, Jackson...

Look for irish, scottish baby name books. They have very different names, that stand out but are not ridiculous. I named my daughter Shaylee, that i made up, then found it in these books.

I just had my 3rd baby and named him Jefferson, everyone says they love it, I think it's different without being weird, and not too common-yet!

I have a son named Judah and a son named Gideon. Both are Bible names but they have great strong meanings.

I love when children have names that mean something to there family, I noticed your name is Layne but not sure on your husbands so just going from your name Landon and then your husbands middle name would be nice for your son. I love the sound of Landon Dean. I named my daughter Kaylana after my Aunt whose name is Lana Kay. If I had a son though I love the name Landon, I may just use it!

We named our son Lucas Kannon. We call him Luke on good days and Lucas on bad days. In the future he may prefer to be called Kannon but he better be packin'. If we have another boy we've considered Lincoln, Cameron, Blake, Kennedy, Justice, Jacob, Damon, Carter, and the list goes on. I heard Rucker last week and liked it. It's definitely got a ring to it.
