I have 2 wonderful children and got my tubes tied about 3 months ago... so I was thinking what better time to start getting some of this HORRIBLE weight off.... I have a good 30-40lbs. that I could stand to lose and am having a difficult time.... I'm trying to eat healthier and get outside (now that its FINALLY nice out!) and at least go for walks... too much excercise tires me out right now.... Anyone have any pointers, products, certain foods etc... that has helped you be successful to get off some of those pounds? I could really use some help!!

I breast fed mine and the weight dropped off and when I stopped breast feeding I went to Taebo 3 times a week and had a calorie controlled diet. Have had 3 kids and been every size from a 0 to 16 all post children, am now a size 10 and my kids are 14, 10 and 8, am really careful what I eat and even doing 1000 stomach crunches a day for 2yrs did not completely tighten that bit of tummy skin that just never goes back.

I join weight watchers. It has helped me a lot. I have lost 29 lbs. in 11 weeks and it helps to teach me what a healthy lifestyle should look like and how I can maintain my weight once I reach my goal.

I drank water, ate some fruit, a lot of vegetables with some chicken, soup or anything else that's healthy for you. A friend and I joined a gym and lost all of our baby weight in an aerobics class.

The first thing I did was drink water with fresh lemons sliced into it, it gets rid of any water weight you may have, and when my youngest was about 6 months old I bought an all natural product called flush the fat and I lost about 15 pounds with that.

I exercize that has worked great for me is bike riding. It's really low impact which is good. I get the most from it by putting my two boys in a bike trailer and riding to the park or library which are both within a mile of my house. Then you can sit and rest a little while the kids play or play with them and get even more of a work out.

Well I nurse my now 6 month old daughter and plan to continue to do so, but haven't noticed any difference with that either..... I nursed my son for about a year and a half... I do nurse exclusively.. and had the whole time (well except for the first 16 days of my daughter's life... she was born a month early and didn't have the suck/swallow reflex down yet so she was tube fed.)

Lots of fruit and water. Get all of the junk food and sodas out of the house so you can't snack on them. I don't know about you but watermelon and tea makes me potty like crazy, that may be helpful in getting rid of some of the initial water weight and watermelon is coming into season-I bought one yesterday. Walking helps and if nothing else housework. Sometimes I feel like I worked out for hours after spending a day cleaning the house, I'm usually sweating after vacuuming upstairs and downstairs all at once. (damn dog and all of her hair) My BFs brother cut out drinking soda for a couple of months and taking walks in the evening and lost a lot of weight. It's unbelievable the amount of sugar a single soda has in it. I also use a wii fit, I put my daughter in the bajorn and we play games and do yoga. She giggles when we ski and do the balance games with the penguins, it's like an interactive cartoon for her. I've also cut out mcdonalds altogether and eat more salads and sandwiches at home.

Erinn, well my weight didn't come off fast at first either. You have to be dedicated. I stopped eating after 7p, drink water all day, no sodas. Try to walk 45 minutes or 3 miles 5 days a week. After you start getting some energy back try to add some weights to tighten up the muscles or do a Taebo DVD. That's a killer!!!!!!!!! Hope it helps...good luck!
