I use baking soda and vinegar in the bathtub. I have really sensitive skin and the rare time I have a bath, if there are any commercial cleansers in there...I'll get hives. Baking soda and vinegar is the only thing that doesn't give me hives.

One of my favorite uses for Baking Soda is actually for heartburn. I used it a lot during late pregnancy when the heartburn was intense and constant. Dissolve a half teaspoon into half cup of water (must dissolve first) and it cuts the acid instantly. It was perfect during pregnancy since there was no medicine in it at all; just pure acid-cutting power :)

I use it to clean most anything. I have mixed it w/ Dr Bronner's soap to make a soft scrub, w/ tea tree oil to make a scouring powder, put it in cloth diaper pails for stink prevention, used it as a laundry booster. It can be used as a tooth powder (but not too too often b/c it can damage enamel if used too much). I use it in my hair a part of my homemade shampoo routine. It makes a good face scrub too. That's all I can think of at the moment. There are probably lots more uses.
