What are you packing on your kids lunches?

My kids want the same thing everyday and I just know one of these times that I stock up on these things they are going to tell me they are tired of them. Maybe if I had some suggestions, I could slip in a little variety here and there and prevent a pile of food I have to stick their dad with

every couple of days why dont you try maki flapjacks with friut in them or healthy fun cakes make them with them and then they will love to take them to school x

a mixture of cranberries, diced dried fruit and popcorn (not buttered), yoghurt mixed with berries is always a treat, rice paper rolls filled with cooked chicken, cucumber carrot etc, rice crackers and dips, individual jelly cups, cold pasta salads, homemade muesle slice, homemade muffins, scones, mini pancakes, home made fruit salad. i find the best way to get my girls to try something different is to involve them in the preparation of their lunches, hope this helps

I four picky boys that love Lunchables...however I find they are very unhealthy. So I did my own version with cheese, crackers, luncheon meat, carrot stixs with dressing, applesauce or other fruit, yogurt, and a juice box. I also bought my kids thermos' and warm up soup while i fix breakfast, and they love it. I put in crackers and fruit and snack.

I've gone through this already. lol. So we change it when we can but have to be careful. Our daughter's school has a no nut policy. Can't even use peanut butter.
We let her pick out different luncheon meats, canned things that she can take in containers (ravioli, alphagetti, etc.) she gets one piece of fruit everyday, and two snacks which vary. We buy the real fruit gummies, florida's natural fruit nuggets, granola bars that are peanut free, pudding, yogurt, cheese, bags of veggies, breadsticks w/ cheese, yo go bits, etc... she has quite the variety between good food and not so good food that she can pick from but she picks 3 healthy things and one yucky (junk foodish) thing for lunch. She also varys between taking different fruit juices and buying milk from school to drink. =)

I haven't made any lunches in 2 years, they make their own so that I know they will eat it. I do provide....yogurt, veggies and dip, applesauce, homemade muffins and cookies (made with whole wheat flour and fruit), hard boiled eggs, and the fixings to make wraps (tortillas, meats, cheese, salsa, lettuce and ranch dressing)
