i just want to know what everyone else thinks of as a MUST have for their diaper bags... of course diapers and wipes are an obvious.. but what about medicines.. in case of emergency stufff... anything like that?? im trying to downsize to "whats necessary" for the health and safety of my son..

ivew got a little fold up changing mat - really useful - calpol or teething gel if theyr at that stage, bikkies,bottle, bibs (you can buy really good disposible ones) and a small bottle of vodka for mum (joke)

Only thing I see missing in the lists is a few plastic bags (for the messy stuff!) I keep a small packet of the deodourized ones on me still even though my kids are a bit older.

It has been a while but I used to put:

extra clothes

burb cloth

toys

small drink and food (when older)

hand sanitiser

any medicines of the moment - teething gell etc

small rug to lie baby on

Diapers for length of time, wipes, cream, changing pad.

2 burp cloths, one bib.

An extra outfit or two.

Bottle in cooler (pumped breast milk)

Pacifier, a toy

First aid Kit
