I use pampers. I HATE huggies. They leak all the time and they leave rashes on my kids' bottoms. Pampers rock!

I've always used Pampers and Huggies.

They both seem to be really good.

the Swaddlers are good.

for my son, the white bag of huggies diapers weren't good for him.

I used luvs and have never had a problem with them they are scented if you are into that and a little cheaper than huggies and pampers. Also I had leaks with both of the other. Now for potty training I use pull ups.. It really just depends on your taste and your babys shape..

I have used Pampers since my daughter was in the hospital. I have tried just about every other brand out there and I believe Pampers works the best-no leaks here! :)

I have tried them all and like huggies the best, but I usually use luvs because they aren't so expensive and my son does fine with them, no leaks.

We're on baby #4 so we've tried them all. I prefer the dri-bottoms from walmart. Can't beat the price and the rare times we've had leaks they were so bad they would have leaked with the name brands. I've had leaks with all of them before-pampers,huggies,etc. These just seem to fit the best, hold the most, and cost the least.

We started with Pampers and now we use Huggies...the problem with pampers was the mesh like lining in the diaper...my daughter didn't like it because it would stick to her bottom and she would put her hand down there to pull it off even if she was poopie...there were a lot of extra baths when that was going on...NO FUN!

When mine were little i loved the pampers swaddlers. But i am 100% a huggies fan. They fit my kid the best. Especially the Little Movers size 4!!

Pampers Cruisers. I've tried the other brands, but these seem to work best. No leaking and flexible for baby's comfort.

For an infant, you can really go with any of them since there are so few leaks at that stage. Once you move into size 3 or more, try and stick with Pampers. There are always coupons and you will find that they truely do hold up the best.

I LOVE Huggies Natural Fit. They stretch to fit my daughters curves and seem to absorb moisture better and longer. We tried Pampers and though they have their good points- like the mesh netting- we didn't like how thin they were, how they didn't stretch or move well and how they smelled once soiled. Obviously no diaper smells good once it's dirty but with the baby powder scent Pamper uses, the smell was nauseating.

Definitely Pampers. I've used both Huggies and Luvs and I prefer Pampers since my 9 month old was born.

Quoting Jean:

Quoting Judy:

Remeber that disposables could cost you about $1,000 over the diapering years for each child you have.
Cloth diapers are much better, healthier, and economicly freindly.
There are some great new diapering systems on the net.
Good luck and blessings

I'm not wanting to pick a fight here but disposables are just as bad for the enviroment as what cloth nappies are (when you wash them you are using some sort of detergent, using power if you wash them in washing machine and if drying in a dryer, and the waste water, and disposables take for ever to break down).

I'm in New Zealand and we first started our son in Huggies but found they were getting to expensive, plus the leaked and my partner came across the Budget range, 72 nappies for $19.95 (new zealand dollars) but they do leak from time to time and I have also found after removing one from my son that they leave and unpleasant smell on his backside (I think its because they are not perfumed).

Also we sometimes use Treasures. I think Treasures are only available in New Zealand and Australia

"It is reassuring, in a way, to note that in fact, the answer to the question is a muddled and confusing draw, according to most experts. On the one hand cloth diapers take a lot of water and detergent to wash, plus cotton that is usually grown with pesticides. On the other, disposable diapers are very resource-intensive using trees, plastics, and they take up enormous amount of landfill space. Even the Sierra Club considers the answer to the diaper debate a wash.

What isn’t a moot point, however, is which brand of disposable diaper you choose, for the health of your baby, and the health of the planet in which your baby will grow. If you choose disposable diapers, here is our recommendation:

Dioxin is a deadly byproduct poison that is created when the materials used to make diapers are whitened with chlorine. Direct links have been associated between dioxin exposure and cancer, birth defects, and reproductive disorders.

Tributyl tin (TBT) is biocide used in paper mills that is extremely toxic to wildlife, and according to The Green Guide Institute, in 2000, Greenpeace Germany found TBT in eight brands of disposable diapers that had been tested in Germany.

Seventh Generation’s chlorine-free disposable diapers are made with materials that have not been bleached with chlorine, and therefore do not contribute to dioxin in the environment. They also are free of TBT, fragrance, and latex, a common sensitizer."

[deleted account]

My favorite is none of the above.. I personally use cloth diaper for enviromental purposes. IF I have to use a disposable I use 'Seventh Generation' Brand.. they are 95% biodegradable.. and they are just as good if not better than the popular brands.. no they are not covered in cute cartoons, and they don't have that smell, but they don't leak hardly at all and well BETTER for our earth.. Try em out, you will feel like you are making a difference in our world, and that is important..

When my daughter was younger I used Pampers Swaddlers. Now I use Huggies little snugglers. I found that they hold more and fit my daughter a little better. I tried the Target brand, but my daughter got a rash and they leaked! It's all about the huggies for us!

Definitely Huggies Supreme.- I never like Pampers, they always looked wet and smelled of urine even if you just changed them.

Does anyone know if the over night diapers works good..I think they are by Huggies..my daughter is a size 4 in diapers. but just wondering if anyone tried them and if they work really good?

[deleted account]

I'm in australia, I started using Huggies on my boy (which were great for day & night) and then as a toddler tried Babylove (have Wiggles on them, but can leak) and now use 'You'll Love Coles' brand of walker nappies which do the job & are cheaper than huggies!

LUVS! I started out with Huggies and I loved them but after 5 months they just got to expensive. I had a variety of brands from the baby shower and I thought pampers had good absorbancy but the tabs on them kept ripping off. I think I threw away more diapers with bad tabs than ones he actually wore. I've never had a leak or problem with Luvs. I will say though that I use Huggies wipes, buy in bulk, I buy the boxes of almost 400 and keep a wipe container in each room.

PAMPERS!!! I have a 23 month old daughter who has been in nothing else and a 1 month old son who is following in her footsteps. We tried Target brand; that was a joke. I took it back after 3 diapers. GOOD LUCK!
