Make sure you're eating and sleeping right. Sometimes, if you're lacking energy, it could be low iron and/or B12 levels. Go to a doctor and get these checked, it's easy to rectify. Since being on iron tablets and B12 injections, I have loads of energy to play with my kids. Good luck with it! :0)

I'm totally with you. If you find something that works for you, let me know! I did, however, go to my GP and am waiting to make sure there isn't an actual MEDICAL reason.
I'll try and listen to my own advise here: Don't beat yourself up! And talk to people about it, your husband, friends, Dr.

It could be iron levels or even thyroid problems. Have you talked with your doctor?

If you're more run down than usual, have your iron checked. I found out a little over a year ago that I was anemic, what an eye opener!

Hi Carolin! Yes, eating well and getting rest help but I don't think anyone has mentioned getting regular exercise. I find it helpful to get up and move around when I am feeling tired. After I start doing something, whether it is a household chore or taking the kids outside for a walk, I feel tons better! Not to mention, the fresh air will help you to feel rejuvinated. Hope this helps! Good luck!!! :)

start the morning out with almonds soaked overnight in 1/2 glass of water eat the nuts and drink the water (a natural booster), two hours later- Udos oil and hydrate eat an apple, two hours later a salad plate full of salad with braggs amino, lemon and apple cider, two hours later a hand full of veggies with a small protion of meat, two hours later small salad with 1/2 potatoe, do this every day to boost your motabilism thus creating more energy. The process should take two weeks. your water intake should be 1/2 your body weight in oz of water a day every day. Tell me your results later - I have been doing this for over a year - normally i sleep only 4 hours a night. Good Luck!

Are you stressed? Are you sleeping enough at night? Are you sleeping too much at night? Are you feeling depressed? Don't be ashamed if you are depressed, thousands and thousands of mothers are. Are you taking vitamins? Are you eating healthy? Are you forgetting to eat? All of these questions you have to answer for yourself. All of these can be fixed. Either by yourself, or by a doctor. Iv gone through it all.

It's tiring being a mother that's for sure. How much sleep are you getting? What about your diet? Don't forget that it's okay to take time for yourself. Just b/c you are a mother of two young children doesn't mean that you have to give up the things that you enjoy. There is a perfect balance, but it takes years to Master. Take your time. Sleep. Remember yourself. And most of all enjoy your children b/c they grow up and there is still a lot of life to live.

I work just weekends and so I have to try and get things done during the week with my 4 kids. After I have worked 36 hours in 3 days I am exhausted when Monday rolls around and I do absolutly nothing on Monday and then Tuesday thru Thursday I pick one thing that needs to be done and work on that and I try to do a load or 2 of laundry each day. But there are times when I don't want to do anything so I just lie on the floor and let my 1 year crawl all over me, she likes that just knowing I am there. And then my other 3 kids are in school so they are old enough to help out when I need help. And my husband is good about helping out with the kids and housework when I need him too. I have also started to make sure I exercise about an hour each morning and that seems to help give me more energy to make it through the day. I have even tried just getting out and going to hang with some friends and their kids, the kids entertain each other and the adults get some mommy time. Hang in there things will get better.

Finding the time to eat healthy is a must. Sleep when your bub sleeps and try and go to bed early (not always possible!). Keep up with lots of water and maybe try some vitamins? suprisingly exercise gives us energy the more we exercise the more energy we have. So maybe going for walks with the kiddies or even joining a gym one that has childcare.

I leave the house work for weekends when my husband is home so he can look after our son, I do clothes washing during the week and thats it. Then during the week I sleep when my son sleeps, I find that helps heaps. He is one and still wakes up in the middle of the night so I know what it feels like to have no energy during the day.
