My 2 year relationship with my son father has gone down hill. He keeps threatening me that he's going to see a social worker. But in the past 3 weeks he has left our home several times without contacting me for days almost weeks. What should i do about him going to a social worker ?

I've been doing just that keeping track of how many times I've contacted him to come spend time with his son. Thank u so much i really appreciate your feedback as well as everybody else feedback on my situation. May God continue to bless you all !!!

In the eyes of a social worker, that's neglect on his behalf. Write down every time you try to contact him, calls, dates, times, copies of emails if possible. Then IF he does see a social worker, then you have proof to protect yourself. Even though your a good mother, ALWAYS protect yourself in that area. The only way you can be proved unfit, is to fail drug screenings, or have signs of abuse or neglect.
Hold your head up, and trust God to protect your child.

I have no way of contacting him, he has not cellphone. Ive emailed him but have yet to receive a response back.

Social services don't take children away from good parents in fact they try and help family's who are lacking in the right skills.

i have no idea, his family told him to go meet with a social worker. My guess is so he can have visitation but ive never told him he could see his son, ive always welcome him having a relationship with our son.

Yes what is he going to the social services for?
I would welcome any social worker into my house because I am confident in my parenting skills. As long as you aren't doing anything to worry them about then it's basically a empty threat.

What is he meeting with the social worker about? If you aren't neglecting or abusing your kids and you have evidence of that.... doesn't sound like anything to worry about.
