just add a little extra fluid - my babies all had it - came and went

i got told its dehydration too. but my daughter gets loads of fluids and her soft spot is dipped in some days... and my son who is older was the same.. im not really sure.. maybe although they get lots of fluids they lose them quicker on some days...

They do have a dip in their soft spots naturally, but if yours is enough to make you fear dehydration I would have it checked out by a doctor. Can't be too careful when it comes to that.

just read what summer said about baby being sick.. my daughter has had a slightly dipped soft spot for the last couple of days and she has come down with a cold.. so maybe there is a link to ilness too??

it's not a thing to worry about,not really,one of my six childre,had a slight dip,in the soft spot,dr told me,it wasn't uncommen..

My doctor always told me that if one of my daughters were sick to watch their soft spot.  If it dips in that means they are dehydrated

its were the skull has not closed ...the baby needs this so that he or she can fit down the birthing canal...if it gets extremely sunken that could mean dehydration...but most close by 1st yr of age...id talk to ur dr. however it is normal to have a "soft spot"

it is normal....could be dehydration but my son had it and it was just the way his head was....i wouldn't worry!

could explain why I have a large dent on the top of my skull. I ve had cat scans and it came back normal.
