To me motherhood means sacrifice, and waiting 20 years to see if I've done my job properly. I feel like motherhood was a calling. I feel privileged to call myself a mother!

It's like I'm waging war against the world. My daughter's Autistic and when she has a bad day, it's hard to get people to understand that she isn't just a rotten kid. It's also difficult at times to make sure she's getting the support she needs, though her school is doing a pretty good job, I can't say the same about her dad. So yea, that's what motherhood is to me... a continuous bloodless battle that for the most part, I'm winning.
