What happened to my perfect little sleeper??

Do you give her, her bottle in her bedroom? My daughter used to be a nightmare to get down at night, always waking after half hour or so screaming. I now take everything I need to her bedroom, so once we go up for bath at 6 we dont go back downstairs. I dim the lights, put a baby CD on and she's asleep straight after her bottle. Now if she stires she's in the same room she fell asleep in. Good luck :)

Most babies seem to go through phases where their sleeping patterns go awry (I am told by mothers of slightly older kids that it will happen more than once) Iknow our bub has had a couple of phases where she wont sleep through the night (at the moment sheis going the 4am feedwe gotrid of 6 months ago again) and it is usually when she is either teething or about to go through a growth spurt. We just roll with it a bit while trying to keep some kind of routine for her so she will pick it back up when she isready to :)

Thanks guys for all the help..so tonight I had a strick routine of dina at 5 bath at 6 story time then bottle at 645 cuddles then bed at 730 she cried for bout 5 mins then went to sleep but afta 40 mins of sleeping she woke up screamin and ic ould not resettle her she just screamed and screamed i left her for half and hour but my heart was breakin and i finally went in and got her..I cant tell if shes teethin or not bcos she has no symptoms she wears a teething necklace which i thought has made her alot happier and i also put gel on her teeth b4 bed..shes a tummy sleeper so want to know is it ok to wrap a tummy sleeper?? ive never wrapped her..

I had the same thing happen of course my little boy never slept all the way through the night until he was about 10 months old but there was a stage he went through that he wouldn't go to sleep until 10 and then get up early it was ruff, but they will get better give her about a week or two and she'll get better. Sometimes its just teething, or just certain mood swings. What kind of helped was I went to Target and bought him a lullaby cd and played that and it puts him right to sleep. Also how long do you let her cry when you try to put her down? I had to start doing that to my son and the first week he would cry for about a half hour with the cd playing but once he realized hey their not coming he just gave up and would fall asleep. And now I can just lay him down and he'll go right to sleep. But no worries it happens to us all, just don't give up and stay strong.

Has she started cutting teeth? My daughter has been the same way ever since she started cutting that first tooth! She used to go to bed about 8 or 9, but when she is cutting teeth she is still fighting to stay awake at midnight some nights!! Usually the Hyland's homeopathic teething tablets. and they work great! A much better alternative in our opinion to giving Tylenol for pain. Within several minutes after giving her the tablets she calms down and goes off to sleep. We have tried all the teething advice like cold teethers and frozen washcloths...but she hates the cold part! lol The only other thing she likes that seems to help is this toy we were given for teething babies- it has a rubbery star shaped top that vibrates when they squeeze it or chew on it and a rattling spinny thing at the other end. She loves chewing on both ends when her gums hurt. If it's not teething it may just be a phase she is going through or her sleeping habits may just be changing...unfortunately it happens no matter how good you stick to a schedule. Look at her day time sleeps. Do not let her sleep past 2pm, and jsut a nat at 4pm - 4.30
Dinner at 5, bath 5.30 -6, bottle and then bed. Give it a go

Go back to the time with settling techniques. Start with wind down time at 7 maybe bath in bedtime bubble bath by Johnson and Johnson very soothing. Cuddles then down. If she yells just do the principals of supernanny by Jo Frost excellent reading on a guide to help put bubs to bed.
