I use S26 Gold and Ashley is thriving however another mum told me she was recommended NAN as it is the closest breastmilk and therefore the best formula for babies.

Hi Kelli! I would def say the best formula for babies is "S26 GOLD"! U need 2 1st find out if baby is lactose intolerent, then perhaps another brand. Gud luck! K

novalac is really good and has set ones like reflux, constipation and sweet dreams. it worked wonders when my son went onto it. otherwise you've got s26 but only buy a few sachets of a few different ones first before buying a tin to see how bubs takes it

In my experience any formula is good as long as it suits your child! My child was a puker from day three, we had to have her on formula to flush out jaundice which had no impact on her sleeping pattern (jaundice that is). She was a big eater - empties both boobs from over night plus 250mls formula at 4 wks! I beleive forcing the formula (to remove the jaundice) made her stomach big (or she could just be like her skinny father and has 5 stomachs). Anyway my point is it wasn't til my child reached 10mths and I was slowly introducing her to milk that I realized she was allergic to formula! One fed of milk - nothing, next fed formula volcano! Our child was eating a well balanced diet at this stage and after speaking to the maternal nurse we agreed no more formula and she never puked since. An 1/8th of formula in her milk mstill made her puke. All brands tend to have the same stuff thou we did found the one that doesn't froth up as much created less puking reaction. So just pick what ever suits you and your child and your budget!

we use enfamil nutramigen...but we went thru regular formula with goodstart...then similac soy....had nothing but problems with both types of formula...our little girl also has reflux..after the recommendation from her doctor and friends we are now on the nutramigen, its pricey but it works so the price doenst matter to me and shes been great on it every since. good luck....unfortunately finding the best formula for babies is sometimes its a trial and error type of thing

I used s26 gold with my 1st baby and he kept being sick after about half an hour with feed times, it was too creamy and rich 4 him so I moved him on to aptimal and we found it's the best formula for babies. We've never looked back x

i use S26 GOLD, my baby was breastfed till 6 months but my iron was really low so he wasn't getting enough nutrients.. when i put him on formula he thrived. also when he went into hospital at about 2 weeks the hospital suggested that the best formula for babies is s26 gold.

Hi Kelli, i use Karicare gold. i orignally started her on S26 gold at the hospital, but she was reacting badly, she seemed intolerent of it so i changed to Novolac - Colic. (maybe a little extreme), but it seemed to work. I only changed to karicare gold at about 7 months, and since then she has loved it.

I changed it because she started to refuse the bottle, and thought that the formula wasnt providing enough of what she needed.
Also i chose karicare gold because it was most convenient to me.
hope this helps.!
