Oh apparently they are also The known as The First Years.
They also only have one piece lids making them a breeze to clean and they are BPA free!!

I don't know the brand, but the only ones I have found that don't leak are the ones with Disney characters on them at Walmart.

Most brand names are good. There is no guarantee that your child will like the kind of spout? You may have to try different ones till you find a favorite for your child. Some will cause your child have to suck hard and others the flow may be too fast? It in another one of those trial and error tricks. Best of luck!

The only thing I can use that hasn't leaked is Playtex with the clear valve ... Love these things, if the valve is pushed in tight they can throw these things against the wall and they won't leak! :)

We use Gerber, with the 2 handles on the side, have had NO problems but also we don't send through the dishwasher. I don't know if that is the problem for some.

I use the Gerber ones with the hard spout and valve (They are CHEAP but work so well!! And they look like a barbell, the ones that I use) and they are only a few dollars. Also, I have come to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the 97 cent Nuby sippy cups from WalMart. Not only b/c I am on a tight budget, but they really don't leak unless the valves need replaced.. And for 97 cents?? Heck no, I am not passing that up! Neither of those (Gerber or Nuby) have handles, BUT the Nuby has smaller sippy cups with handles that are like 94 cents. Oh, and I recently bought an Avent insulated sippy cup (it was cute and Christmasy.. Little penguins and polar bears in the snow..) That also works really well, but that was about 6 or 7 bucks just for one. Good luck on finding good sippy cups!!!!

i use the gerber ones (the hard plastic spout and the stopper on the inside) and have not had any leaking issues. also, my MIL has playtex ones at her house and those ones have been pretty good as well.
i have found that most of the soft spout ones end up leaking

I've tried quite a few and had the best experience with the playtex.
