Does she have a favorite cartoon or show? Try checking out birthdaydirect.com, they have tons of themes! Good luck!

I've heard of salons coming to do nails and hair and have a a run way walk. Pictures taken. For here in Canada it is about 20/child. If that's over buget, you could always get a couple friends too help and do the samething. Instead of a cake have the children decorate their own cupcakes. (good for using up sometime).

We did a princess party for 3 years and it was great. There is so much princess stuff at the dollar store! Of course, my daughter's friends are mostly girls.

We did a dress up party! We let the girls be princesses and the boys be knights. We played musical chairs, I told a fairy tale to the kids while they put it together on their own with stickers and paper and crayons, we played pin the kiss on the frog, and had cake with juice and some fruit. Total time was an hour and a half, total cost was $200 for 10 kids plus their parents. We had a ton of fun! You can find dress up party rentals online in your area. :)

For my daughter's 4th birthday we rented a blow-up slip-in-slide [for around $120] for they day and it was money well spent! The kids [and adluts, including my husband] played on it for HOURS. I mean, a good 8 hours.

We also had a pinata, which I wouldn't recommend unless there will be older kids there to help do it because all the kids at her party were around her age and it look them SO LONG to try to break it that my husband finally cut it open. lol.

We also just oder the $5 pizzas from Dominoes, it's SO much easier than making all the food and pretty cheap in comparison. Hope I helped :)

are you doing it at home or are you gonna have it some place? my daughter is just turning 4 and we let her choose, and she chose chuckecheese. kinda pricey, but i like not having to do anything... if you live near zoos or kids museums they can do parties as well, so does build a bear ... if youre having it at home, princess tea party?? i know more about places to go... lol sorry =(
