I have hard wood floors and an 8 month old that is constantly on the floors crawling around. I currently use pinesole. What is something I can use that is safer for my daughter?

I use water and white vinegar. I use it for almost everything, apporx 1- 2 gallons of hot water to 1/2 to 1 cup of vinegar. If you put it in a spray bottle do 1 part vinegar to 4-6 parts water, doesn't have to be a precise measurement.

Wow so I guess I'm gonna have to try vinegar and water than. haha. I remember using it to clean up pet stains on carpet but never thought to use it on my hard wood floors. Thank you gals so much!

I agree with everyone about the vinegar and water, it can clean just about anything in your house. I just started using it in my house about a week ago and I'm amazed at how well it cleans.

I agree with the vinegar and water. My mother has wood floors, and she swears by it.

I know they are not always recommended, but steam mops, no chemicals.
But they dont always lift things like sauce. Good luck! But I would'nt worry about it,
you dont let them suck the floor.

Hi Cassie, I would use a mix of 1/8 cup of vinegar per gallon of water, the smell fades fast and they are safe! It does not have to suds up to clean
