I have 2 different ones for my daughter I'm not exactly sure of the brands but I really like the one I have that reclines so when she falls asleep she's more comfortable and I dont have to worry so much about her.

I am sure it is nice having a reclining seat for your child. But that's not safe when you are driving, just as it is not safe for an adult to be reclined while the vehicle is in motion. Sitting completely upright is the best defense if you are ever in a car accident.

It doesn't recline all the way back, not even like an infant carseat... it tilts back just enough so that her head doesn't fall forward.

Oh!!!! Sorry about that then. I misunderstood.

So i would recommend Saftey 1st all the way... whish was a blessing as my son's side of the van hit the ground first... we got very lucky.. hope this is helpful

I have the Graco ComfortSport convertible car seat. The best one I have tried so far. It's inexpensive, has held up through being tossed in checked baggage at several airports (Hawaii to South Carolina.. That's a long way). I have never had a problem with it. The cover comes off easily so you can wash it if you need to, it's perfect. I have tried the Cosco convertible car seat. It was definitely clear to me why they are so cheap. That thing was a piece of crap!

You might also want to check out this website. It's fairly new, but it's where moms review products that they've used. Lot's of moms talking about what products suck and which ones are awesome.

Here it is http://WaNeLo.com

That is too funny! I have to agree with the first post! We just bought that one...Safety First Alpha Omega....so perfect and the only one you will ever need! All the reviews were even better than the more popular and more expensive brands like Graco, Brittax, etc.

I love the alpha omega elite, it goes from 5-100 lbs. its kinda mammoth for rear facing though.
