My daughter got inspired by the slightly older child she was at daycare with. We also went shopping for big girl underwear one day and soon after she informed me that she did not want to wear a pull up at night any more. She had very few accidents, but a bed cover made these no big deal. Good luck!

I had to go strait from diapers to undies.. nude did not work, neither did pull ups.. it just depends on your childs temperament and how stubborn she is!! :) Instead of a potty chair i used a toilet seat that sits on a regular toilet so she felt like a big girl.. I would only give her 1/4 cup milk or juice at a time and make her go to the potty every 15 minutes until she got the hang of it.. it was a lot of work especially having a 1 yr old in the house also, but after a week of the same routine she started getting it and using the potty with few accidents. Now at night she is limited on beverages after supper and gets 1/4 cup milk before bed and sleeps through the night with no accidents and she has only been potty training for about 1 1/2 months now.

i got my little girl a doll that uses a potty and then she was interested and wanted a go and now she if potty trained. but also try and get a travel potty as this is good when out as putting them in nappies when out but using the potty at home just confuses them so it takes a lot longer and u can get travel potties from boots or mother care os even on ebay.

For both of my girls I just put panties on them. It only took a few times of them wetting or soiling their new big girl panties to get them to run for the potty.

I got my daughter some special princess underwear and told her princess didn't like to get wet! Big praise for successful trips to the potty. No yelling or scolding for accidents.

i put a dress on my daughter with no pants and the little potty right where she is playing, in the living room. sometimes i would walk by and see potty in it and not even know when she went. that is how fast she figured it out!

my daughter trained herself. Pull ups are a waste of money. Good for going out, to prevent accidents. I put a training toilet in both bathrooms and she always followed me (as if I couldn't do it alone). I never pressured her and i guess after watching everyone else she just did it on her own.

Pull ups do not work. They are only good for when you are going to be in the car for awhile or going somewhere that a tiolet may not be easy to get to. To potty train, one must plan to stay home a few days, put panties on the child and take them to the potty every 30 minutes depending on the child. It depends on the bladder...how much it holds. It has absolutely nothing to do w/ IQ. It took me forever to train my son. He still has a weak bladder, but at 10 he is in the 99% on IQ test. Relax. They all potty train eventually.

Well for us we got her favorite underware and a poddy chair that goes right over the toilet. Dora worked great for us. Every time she went we told her she could have a sticker, it worked and we also told her she would be a big girl soon. I think it is all with the timing, but I found that you have to constantly remind her!! That is a huge step! Good luck!

I used the huggies wet alert pull ups at first, and then I would have a schedule of putting my daughter on the potty every 45 min and let her sit for a while. After a few days you will get to know how long she goes between going to the bathroom and then you can make sure she sits on the potty around the time she usually needs to go. then she will feel proud of herself that she can go potty. It's not easy but I have potty trained 10 children and have had sucess every time within two weeks. Life will be hell for a while but it will be so worth it!!! hope this helps :) good luck!

Probably not the best way but my little girl is completely potty trained and we let her just run around nudy booty ...lol...of course when we have company she has to wear clothes but it works for us. No accidents and she's a happy camper.

No panties or diapers and have her wear a dress. This way if she starts to tinkle she'll tell you and you can run her to a pottie. I also had a pottie in front of the TV so it was easier for both of my girls. Hope this helps.

How old is she, and has she actually gone potty yet? It takes awhile to train them to always know when its time
