What is wrong with my child?

My youngest son is almost 4 and his dad and I are not together. His dad has him on the weekends and I have him monday through friday. Ever since I got him back on moday morning he has been out of control. Horrible whining and talking back, swearing and being mean. He is usually a very sweet and well mannered boy. Im trying to be patient with him, but I want to cry its so bad. Is this normal behavior? Or should I be worried that his mood changed so drastically over a period of 3 days?

MY question is what did his dad do to him? If your son is bad mouthing...well he must have heard it from his dad, if he didn't do it before , until he came back from dads. If he is crying all the time. Is he hurt? Is there something done to him, that you don't know about.
MY neice was with her stepfather while my sister worked. she was about 1-2 years old and started acting funny. She wouldn't let you change her diaper and would do bad things to the baby dolls and it was found that she was played with.I would diffently find out what the cause of his crying and being mean. He may be acting out from something happening to him while in the care of the dad. It's not normal, if you son isn't normally like that. It's not normal if he comes back like that from being with dad, when he never acted like that before. Maybe the dad needs to be supervised when visiting your son.The cause needs to be found for it could get worse for whatever made him act like that.

He usually is a little out of sorts on Mondays, but nothing like he has been.this week. It normally only takes me half a day to get him to calm down and stop being so mouthy. Plus we have been potty training him and he does very well at my house but his progress is lacking when I get him back :(. Im so frustrated. I know its not his fault, but it doesnt stop me from being angry.

Nicole, has it just happened this one time, or is he out of sorts every Monday? It is pretty normal for kids to take time to readjust between houses, because in each house, you have different routines and different rules. They eventually get used to it, and it becomes less of an issue. But if it is just this once that he has been like this, then maybe there is something in particular upsetting him and it might be worth talking to his dad to see if anything out of the ordinary happened this weekend (even as minor as a routine change).
