My kids love Peppa Pig and of course Sesame Street. My 2 year old son can't sit long enough to watch a movie however my 4 year old daughter is in love with Star Wars to the point where her dad is getting a custom lightsaber made for her with a pink jedi costume. She is very excired lol

Priyanka: I work very closely with my son on things like numbers, counting, letters and colors, but I also allow him to watch some TV. There are Fabulous shows out there that are Educational! He has learned so much from some of these shows, things that I had not yet started to teach him. He is only 2 years old and he can read the words "DRUM, DOG, PIG, SHEEP, BUG, FROG, BEAR and DUCK." Thanks to Word World. He recognizes the written word with out fail each time I print it and show it to him. There is NOTHING wrong or "infectious" about allowing your child to watch a little bit of TV, especially the educational shows. That said, No child at 25 days old is even capable of "watching" TV anyway, so your point is moot!

My 2 yr old Loves Bubble Guppies, Word World, Dinosaur Train and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. As for movies, he always busts up at Ice Age 1,2 or 3! We pick a show to watch every morning, but only one, then no more TV until one show before bed to unwind. Movies are a treat on a lazy day.

Our oldest is nine and loves old runs of Leave it to Beaver. She laughs her butt off. Second oldest is 7.5 and she still loves Dora, as well as all of the PBS shows like Word Girl, Word World, Martha Speaks, etc. Older boy is five and loves Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Bulider and Fireman Sam. Youngest is 3.5 and loves Mighty Machines, that live action show where you watch trucks and machines at work. Everybody likes old Mister Rogers shows in reruns. They aren't fussy though. They rarely get to watch TV so they won't turn up their noses at any kids show on PBS or Nick Jr. I try to stay clear of the Disney channel.
