my kids really enjoy an old favorite that I remember my mom making...one can of tuna fish, frozen mixed vegies and one can of cream of mushroom--mix and warm up together on the stovetop and then pour over Bisquick drop biscuits that you have also just made the meal takes less than 15 minutes and the Kids eat it up!!

I think it will be home made egg rolls. Diced shrimp, bamboo, egg, grounded pork, pinch of salt, cooking wine, carrots, all mixed together and wrapped in egg roll skin. Deep fried and is so yummy!

Beef stroganoff over sticky rice. I made it once with noodles and my daughter said..."mom, please don't do that again". :)

Pasta with Meat Sauce

Serves 4

4 tsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic
1 cup onions
1 cup assorted chopped sweet bell peppers
1 cup chopped mushrooms
12 oz (375 g) lean ground beef or turkey
2 cans (14 1/2 oz) can Italian-style diced tomatoes
1 tsp dried basil
3 cups (750 mL) cooked whole wheat pasta

In a medium skillet over medium heat, saute garlic and onion in oil until lightly browned.
Add beef, cook until browned.
Add peppers and mushrooms, saute for 3-4 minutes
Add tomatoes and basil
Simmer 10 minutes.
Serve over pasta

If your little ones aren't crazy about vegetables, you can always dice them super small in a food processor.

We love our quick avocado pasta, pasta, avocado, cream cheese, ham, corn, grated cheese - or any other vegetable combination you like to add. It is a great easy pasta dish, kids love it and you can add what ever you like and it is always a winner.

My favorite meal to make for my family is a tough one because I love cooking and every meal I make is a favorite for me! I will choose fettucini alfredo with chicken and broccoli! I love to add a salad with fresh veggies and garlic bread!

We love making homemade pizza! I have three girls ages 5,2,& 1 and they all love making their own personal pizzas. I make the dough and give it to them to flatten out for the crust then I put sauce in a bowl and the each get a spoon and spread the sauce on their pizza and then we have all the toppings put into bowls. You can put anything on a pizza and if the kids make it they LOVE it! We do diced up chicken breast, olives, pineapple, mushrooms, spinach. One thing I did last time we did this was blend the chicken breast up with the spinach so it was green chicken because kids don't like the thought of putting any kind of salad leaves on their pizza but green chicken, how cool is that! You can change the theme also. Shapes, faces, letters, numbers, ect. Very versatile and healthy and what kids don't like pizza especially if they make it!! This is great time spent with the kids and they are learning a lot by not only helping cook but by working on a theme!

My favorite recipe is to cook curry chicken with fresh organic tomatoes in the curry sauce with fresh cilantro to to the dish and also I love making a cucumber/ yogurt sauce to add to the side of the dish. I prefer brown rice over white rice so I also add this to the dish. As for left overs, if there ever is any left! I make a salad with yellow tomatoes, pomegranete seeds over organic baby spring mix with balsamic and olive oil! We love it but not sure that our 9 month old does yet since he is just getting use to solid foods so we shall see!

I just discovered a breading u can put on just about anything. Its "French's Onions". I tried it last night on pork chops and it was a hit. Just dip stuff in egg and roll it in the crunched up onions and enjoy! I saw it on TV. :)

its a tie between slow cooked roast with carrots and potatoes,tomato and cucumber salad and stuffing. the next day i like to use the left over meat to make bbq sandwiches with coleslaw and baked beans :)
