Lemon chicken with mashed potatoes and a nice salad with french bread. Since my son isn't big on potatoes I give cottage cheese, he just loves it. Such a simple yet easy meal to put together and so hearty. :)

Salsa chicken corn as my three year old calls it.
I put a jar of salsa, a can of corn, a can of black beans and 4-5 chicken breasts in the slow cooker and leave it on medium for about 8 hours. Stir to break up the chicken and serve over rice or on wraps with cheese and sour cream. the whole family loves it and it takes about 5 minutes of work.

My family love for me to fix beef stew and cornbread. The kids get to help cut, wash and add veggies....so good and so much fun to watch them enjoy the final product that they had a hand in help with....what memories.

My favorite recipe is tacos! We have food allergies and Tacos are the family favorite and are easy to make avoiding all those tricky allergy foods. I have a family of 5, soon to be six and we will decimate almost 30 tortillas before we're done. Oh, and my oldest is 6. He eats as much as daddy!

I love making my Santa Fe chicken tortilla soup for my husband and daughters. My kitchen smells like of yummy spices and the smell of Chipotle peppers. The best thing is that it smells as if I was in the kitchen all day when it is at most 40 minutes from start to finish. I can adjust the heat of the dish and my husband raves about it to everybody. Perfect comfort food in the cold months.

That is a hard question to answer because right now, there are 2 adults, a 2 1/2 yr old (who will try anything) and then my 5 yr old, who is so picky that her menu is limited... It's really a few different things that I make so everyone is happy or eats..

Homemade pizzas. It's even more fun to do if you put out a bunch of bowls of toppings and let each kid (and kid-at-heart) put together their own pizza.

Chicken casserole - easy to mash up for my baby girl and you can put lots of veggies in it. It's about the only meal we all eat the same as I'm always worried about some of the ingredients I put in our other family meals so she tends to have jars with some finger veggies

it has to be cottage pie, its so scrummy i always make a big one so theres loads left over, i use lean beef mince then i add the holy trinity (celery onion and carrot, plus i add swede) once all softened i then add water and a beef oxo, let it simmer for a while then (here comes the naughty bit) i add loads of beef gravy powder (bisto of course) until you get a gorgeous kinda sloppy mixture (not to sloppy tho because will make the mash on top soggy)then i pour all into dish add the mash with (another naughty bit) loads of cheese on top (and slice tomato depending whos for dinner) and pop on medium heat for 45 mins. sooooo yummy .

Taco Salad! We all love it and I try to make enough to have left overs the next day. I use Manwich sauce in my ground beef, then put this over tortilla chips, add cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream on top!

My favorite to cook for the kids is probably chicken breast w/lemon, roasted broccoli with whole cloves of garlic, and brown rice. We always have fresh fruit "for dessert." That said, THEIR favorite currently is probably my turkey lasagna.
