My almost 7 year old daughter is a clomid baby! Took years ago obviously. Honestly, took for over a year with no result. Took temp EVERYS SINGLE DAY. My menstrual cycle was off so it was always hard to pinpoint the right time. I was ready to give up, and actually said "I'm done". Miraculously, 1 month later I found out I was expecting. It was a long emotional roller coaster. When I put the task of becoming pregnant out of my mind, is when it seemed conception happened. Did gain weight and became quite moody due to the added hormones. I wish u the best of luck!

Well I think every ones situations are obviously different!! I was put on clomid for my first pregnancy and the one time did it for me!! I now have four healthy children, the first was the only one that I needed clomid for!! Ithink that unlocked my flood gates :) I did not have any side effects, so the best of luck to you!!! May you be blessed with as many children as you are willing to have :) Also I have heard once you stop trying and worrying about it is when you will most likely get pregnant, I hope these comments have helped you!!

I took clomid at age 24 and within 2-3 months on lowest dose was pregnant. I have a 6 yr. old son thanks to it! I wanted another child & started taking clomid again at age 29 and ended up taking metformin with it at the highest dose and my twin girls were born almost a year ago. I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and was only able to conceive by taking clomid. Good luck!

None. But heard that clomid along with metformin is a very effective combination to help to conceive. I was using clomid and had no results. I stopped trying after 20 years and at age 43 my metformin was increased to 2000mg for polycystic problem and diabetes and I now have a 2 1/2 year old. Good Luck!

My friend tried for a year to get pregnant with baby number two. She took the lowest dosage possible and was pregnant the very next month with triplets!

Hi there. I took Clomid to get pregnant with my son after trying for 2 years to get pregnant. I didn't like the side effects but I did get pregnant after 3 months on it. It did make me gain 20lbs in 3 months and made me VERY cranky. My Dr. said it usually takes between 3-6 months to work. If you are taking it I hope you have success also.
good luck
Sara
