I have an 8 half month old son James who was born 6 weeks premamture. I am now pregnant again with opur second baby who is due in 8 weeks. Needless to say it was a bit of a surprise. I dont intend to have any more babys any time soon after this one but would consider it again in a few years. But for the moment i would like to know what method of contraception you think works best ?

i use creighton method.. which is totally natural, you chart your cycle no iud's pills, etc. u can use it to acheive or avoid pregnancy..even while nursing.. yay!.. i've been practicing for a couple mos.. if anyone would like more info.. i can direct you to w wonderful woman who can help.. pm me for more info

If you want to have more children, or are undecided like I am try Mirena. It's an intrauterine birth control. It's a very simple precedure and you can leave it in up 5 years or take it out early if you change your mind. I have it myself and I have no complications, very light periods and I love it. I think it's a great choice. There's also Implanon which is the same thing but for 3 years I think. Hope I helped a little! :) Best of luck and congrats!

I started feeling that way til the second came. The vasectomy is the very best contraception we have ever used! LOL No hormones for me and no annoying codoms in the way. I can play with friends' and familys' babies-being an aunt is fun. So is being a mom to two great kids.

breast feeding and a low dose pill contraceptive have worked best for me. Something about the horomone levels in a pregnant or newly delivered mother, beefs up your body's natural ability to prevent babies from happening especially if you breast feed the new baby exclusively (not supplimenting with formula). I didn't want to test fate too much but I was baby free for six months with no additional protection after my son was born, then I went on to a low dose pill. It didn't interfere with my milk supply or weight loss. Hope this helps :)
