Ameda. If you order online, you will save money versus buying locally.

If you need something more affordable, Lansinoh has a good electric out. I found (through many conversations with other moms and professionals) that if your boobies have not been spoiled by a fancy medical grade pump, you could get away with using a "cheap" less attractive pump and be totally content, not even knowing what you were missing.
I tried using a manual pump, my hands got so tired and nipples were so chapped, the second we went out and got that cheap evenflo single electric pump, I was in heaven! And that one was a real hunk of junk...I didn't even notice til I went and got my double pump by Lansinoh.
Good luck on your shopping!

great! thanks for your help. I have been thinking of Medela and Avent. But with all the thoughts you gave in, I think I will be going with Medela.
Thanks very much :D

I had to pump for 4 months with my first, 2 1/2 of which were straight pumping b4 I could start B/F. I have the Medela double breast pump and it's still working almost 4 years later. I have to use it with my second as well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has to pump 50% of the time or more. Seeing that they had a Medela in the NICU where both my two have been in, I would say it's a trusted product. Just remember to invest in a sterilizer too!

Depends if u want a manual or electronic. Electronic, go with Medela. Manual go with Tommie Tippie.

The best one for me is the Medela pump. It was the highly recommended one by the lactation nurse that coach me when I gave birth to my daughter.

Medela and Ameda make the highest quality pumps. I believe that they are both available world-wide.
