What's the best way to transition a baby into her crib from a co-sleeper?

I took another lady on here's advice and it has worked perfectly for us so far. She suggested that you take the side of the cot off that is removable and have it right up agained your bed, (so they still kinda feel like they are in your bed) plus you can reach over and pat them if they need to be resettled until they get used to it. We did this for our daughter about 2.5 weeks ago and she hasnt been back in our bed since. Im going to add the side of the cot back soon and eventually put her in her room. Its a slow transition, but at least she is not im my bed anymore, now just have to get her to her room :) Good luck
