My Uncle was a cook in the army and a very good one! He taught me how to make his famous Beef Stew. I loved it! For a first timer, I did alright. :)

Wow, that was quite a long time ago! I remember cooking with my mom from a very young age. I think the first thing I learned to cook by myself was scrambled eggs and toast!

It was a terrible wacky cake recipe. I was so proud I baked it after school on nearly a daily basis. My poor family may never eat a "wacky cake" again.

I remember pretending I could cook. I would throw anything I could find in a pan and fry it. I burnt it every time. LOL. I still have not perfected the art of cooking.

I actually can't remember, I was always in the kitchen learning to make things. The first dish I remember making all on my own was BBQ chicken breasts and ceasar salad.

This reply holds a lot of sentimental value. The first meal I can remember learning to make was my late grandma's speghetti dinner. She passed away last year but left a lot of impression forever instilled in me including her recipes such as spaghetti, mac and cheese, pineapple upside down cake, garlic roast. Recipes I will pass down to my kids :) Love you and miss you Mima!

I learned to cook pudding, at the age of 3. I love to cook and back then you had to cook pudding. So I would stand on a cooler and stir and stir until it was done!

The first meal I learned to cook was Cuban Picadillo. I learned about sauteing and layering the flavors just right. It is still a go-to easy peasy dish!

I was around 7 years old and my grandfather grabbed me a stool and he taughed me how to make a Fried Bologna Sandwich on toasted bread. My first meal I learned when I was around ten and that was Meat Loaf with Mash Potato's and Corn on the cob. Mmm One of my favorites til this day!

My mom taught me to make spaghetti so that same recipe is used today when I make it for my family. My husband loves it so it is a big hit. Now if I could just cook more different types of meals, I would be good...
