Watching her discover new things. Just seeing what amuses her and watching her learn to understand is amazing. Also her saying mama is one of the best things in the world. And she hugs now :D

The love, absolute trust and the bond that you have, it's like no other.

The wonderful stories my son (currently 5 yrs old) comes up with. Such a wild imagination! Always fun to let him run with it :) Also getting the cuddles. HOw proud he is to tell me stuff that he has done in a day.

Watching my girl sleep with dripping slivers on my bed. And, being so touched with all her imitation from others including myself. Seeing her reading a story book following the words correctly without even knowing how to recognize the words. And, enjoying her hip hop dance and Micheal Jackson and Mama Mia songs so much. She is a miracle is my everyday life. :P

lol its so hard to nail the best part. Seeing them feel better after their medicine runs its course. Getting good news from the doctors. Seeing them sweetly asleep under their favorite blanket. Hearing them tiptoe into my room and pull on my foot and ask "are you awake yet? Where's my DS?" Getting their school pictures and seeing that they've hit another milestone in their lives. Watching them cuddle their cats or use my dog as their pillow. Seeing them demand that their dad try and save the bird we hit with our windshield at 75mph.

When they were toddlers we hardly watched TV - watching the kids was tons more fun.

My son falling asleep on my chest and the big smile I get through the bars on his crib when I go to get him in the morning.

right now, I guess taking them places. I could not wait until both of my boys would enjoy going to museums, zoos and such. the time is here, so I make sure to enjoy it, even if sometimes it turns into a mess!

When they sleep through the night.

When does this ever happen?!  Lol!  My 4 1/2 year old son wanders into our bed every single night!  He has been a poor sleeper since Day One and always wakes up in the middle of the night, sometimes several times.  I soooo long for the day when he sleeps all by himself in his own bed.

I love bonding with my children. Cuddle time is the best time for that! It's such an amazing joy to look at my children and look how beautiful they are and how much I love them. I have lost a daughter and I just praise God for the blessings I do have.

Wow. I think whatever phase they're in seems to be my favorite. I love nursing. I love the smell of a newborn. I love when they learn to talk. I love when they learn to read. I love when my teenager tells me that she "gets" things I've been drilling into her head all these years. It's just all pure joy. Well, I can tell you there are two things I DON'T love- terrible 2s and pre-teens. Those are the only two times that I really haven't been able to find much joy in. Thankfully, those pass and it's back to another good phase!

Holding my daughter against my chest when she's sleepy or lovey. That's the best thing there is in life!

For me, I am soaking it up everytime my 4 1/2 year old reads a new word or writes a word/letter/number properly. He is so amazed by his learning and is so exciting when he recognizes a word! Letter/number reversal is a normal part of development, and when he writes it properly he is so happy! I never imagined my son would pick up on reading/writing as quickly as he did. I don't force him at all, he naturally wants to learn. I just picked up a preschool science experiment book at the library and we plan on doing some of them today. He just soaks up learning! As a teacher, and a mother, I am so proud :-)

My favorite part is hearing "I Love You Mom" at random times from my seven year old. I also love watching her figure it out herself. On the weekend she did an experiment all by herself..and yes the lava flowed from the volcano...very cool!

when i'm putting my 3 year old to bed, I always say "I love you" His reply "I love you 2", I love you 3, until we get to 10 and then we say together "I love you to infinity and beyond!" (he loves toy story).

when my 2 year old looks at me and smiles, he is autistic and doesn't talk yet but the smile he has for me is like no other. Every new little thing he does is a big event for us.

and when my 10 week old smiles at me, befor ethrowing up everywhere, he laugh.

i think children are little miracles in themselves, they teach you so much about yourself and the world around you. i fall in love with them everyday!

Watching my 7 week old start to respond to his environment and smile at me with this smile that lights up his whole face! I love it! I also love that he can be so upset and crying his eyes out and the minute he gets into my arms he calms right down. Feeling so needed and loved by this little person that I helped bring into this world makes the whole sick pregnancy worth every minute of it! Do it again in a heartbeat when the time is right!

Quoting Stina:

Every time my 2 month old smiles at me and coos at me, I fall in love with being a mommy again despite the trials of toilet training and tantrums from the older siblings.
Every time I see my 2 1/2 year old wrap her arms and legs around Daddy. or when she crawls into bed with me and cuddles up close. I am so glad I'm a Mommy.
And when my 4 1/2 year old son comes up to me to spontaneously give me a kiss, or his baby sister a kiss. I love being a Mommy.

Its' great I know! :)

hearing mommy's home and getting huge hugs after working all day, sleeping with my kids and pretty much all the random hilarious stuff they do. For instance I walk in the door today and my 15 month old greeted me with a pair of my superman boy shorts on his head. It was hilarious. They never cease to amaze me or make me laugh especially when I need it.

Awww so sweet! My son is not talking yet but I've heard that kids say and do some pretty funny stuff! However my son can say Momma and Dada and a few others and it is so darn cute! It touches my heart the most of course when he says Momma :) These days everything is a duck which is pretty funny too!
