What should I do about a dandelion bud up my sons nose?

What did the hospital say when you went there and they couldn't get it out?

my daughter put a sequin from her shoe up her nose , i tried getting it out but she sucked it up her nose and i cant see it , i took her to the hospital and the couldnt see it either. im going to take her to the childrens hospital , she doesnt seem to know anything is up there she isnt sneezing or coughing , she is just her happy self but im still freaking out , she is in bed for the night , but for some reason i dont want to go to sleep because im so frightened, shes my first and i feel like a bad mother , my partner tries to be re assuring but at the hospital the doctors werent very helpful but they said the worst that could happen is she gets an infection and my partner swore at the doctor and im angry at him for it.the sequin was pretty small and her nostrils are big like her dads and he is asian so he has big nostrils , am i over reacting? everyone tells me i worry too much but i think u can never worry enough when it comes to your kids

My husband is a paramedic and they use bulb syringes, the ones you use when they are infants...works great for sucking out whatever they shove up there. My son is fond of ear ring backs and the bulb syringe works every time!

My Daughter has a habbit of sticking things in her nose and i found that if the nasal canal is wide like hers you could use tweezers it guide it out that usually makes her sneeze you could try that

Whatever you do don't try and pull it out. It would be better to blow it out with force of air. I've never blew in their mouth but I have closed one nostril and their mouth and had them blow out.

My son stuck a pea up his nose...I blew in his mouth and it shot out his nose. I raised seven kids. I works and it's free.

I agree with Debra. It may not work, but if it doesn't then you always have that ENT specialist!

go to the doctor and have it removed! Safest way to make sure it is out!

When our son put a foreign object up his nose I found that if I could get him to sneeze a few times that the object eentually came out but of course it would depend on how far the item is lodged in the nasal cavity. wishing you the very best.
