Hylands homeopathic teething tablets do wonders! I give them to her before she goes to bed, and no more waking up at 3 am to a screaming baby! I love them. She was at the point where she would scream and throw punches at me when a friend had introduced them to me. Another thing that I have found is rubbing vanilla extract on her gums. i hope this helps.

During the day we used wet frozen washcloths, frozen peas to chew on for molers, orajel, and frozen teethers. At night we used motrin b/c it lasts longer than tylenol and he slept better.

Orajel doesn't seem to help my little one. Tylenol and Motrin work well for her. While waiting for it to kick in I will usually give her a wash cloth that I had wet and stuck in the freezer.

i'm not sure there's a 'right' answer for this. i freeze his teething rings and washcloths to chew on. and if he's really aggravated i give him a little tylenol. i've heard of these things called teething tablets but i'm too scared to try them. good luck! remeber, nothing soothes your baby like you do!

I love baby oragel. It is a quick fix, works immediately but is short lived. If my daughter gets fussy during the day I use it and give her a teething toy and normally were good. If she's really upset I give tylenol. If at night I give motrin (lasts 6hrs) and use nitetime oragel (stronger). It normally helps her go back to sleep and then the motrin kicks in later.
