I was a kid of the late 60's through the 70's. Teens 80's....

My favorite candy was
French Burnt Peanuts
Jaw Breakers were so big our whole would be full.
Salt water taffy I had it for the first time when I was 6 years old and went to the USA.
Gold coins
Bottle caps
Pop rocks
Black Licorice pipes and babies
Cinnamon toothpicks
Candy Necklace

Waxed bottles & waxed sticks I DID NOT LIKE...

Chocolate would be Oh Henry and peanut butter cups.

SO WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE??????

I must say I loved Snickers with a glass of cold milk. The other favorite was Now and Laters -- usual carmel, chocolate and watermelon flavors but they all were good.

I loved the Lick-a-Stick candy. It was a vanilla flavored stick that you dipped into sour powder. I also loved Milky Way candy bars.

I was a kid in the 80s, early 90s.
I loved those waxed sticks! YUM
Any penny candy (especially sour)
Pop rocks
I don't remember the name for these but they were little sticks of pink gum individually wrapped and cost 1 cent each.....we used to eat them with the wrapper on them....kids can be strange.
Oh! and one of my top favorite things was Kool-Aid in the package....I don't know if anyone remembers how sour it was and how badly it stained your finger (I loved Tang in the package also)....I miss those days!!!

My mom owned a candy store for 17 years of my life...what a childhood. I loved hershey's kisses, liquid caramel, pop rocks, sour pach kids, lemon sharks, long lasting suckers and all the truffles you could imagine...amerrato was my favorite of those!

Nerds, caramels,Licorice, M&M's both peanut and chocolate.

Not sure the name of them but they were big red lips and vampire teeth.

Wow this brings back lot's of memories when you could buy a whole bag for 50 cents.
