what week did you find out the sex and was it correct?

I had my first ultrasound at 14 weeks, and thats how I found out I was having twins. the lady told me she was 70% sure they were both boys, but i found out 100% sure when i was 20 weeks. they pointed an arrow and everything.. they were definitly both boys.

Hi i am new here, but i had two beautiful sons, and now i am pregnant 16 weeks, i went to do my ultrosound and they told me it's boy twice at my 15 weeks and 16 weeks, but i kind of dont believe them, i dont know for sure because my feeling is teling me that the baby is girl, so can anyone take a look at that the picture and telll me exactly?

18 WEEKS USUALLY IF THE BABY IS COOPERATIVE THEY CAN VERIFY THE SEX, BUT SOME DOCTS. CAN MAKE MISTAKES, THEY R HUMAN. THEY WERE RIGHT W/ ALL 3 OF MINE, SO FAR. I AM GETTING A SONOGRAM DONE THIS FRIDAY AND IT WILL B 1 WEEK & 3 DAYS B4 I AM 18 WEEKS, SO THEY SHOULD B ABLE TO TELL WHAT IT IS....I WILL NOT LEAVE THAT OFFICE TILL THEY TELL ME WHAT I AM HAVIN & I CAN TELL THAT THEY R 4 SURE!!! I was 8 months pregnant with my first daughter and had about 5 ultrasounds up to that point and each and every ultrasound the dr said it is a boy. so i say if you don't see it for yourself, stay safe and stick with neutral color clothes for the first few outfits. when I was pregnant though there were 8 of us pregnant in the family so we knew someone would have boys and some girls so we didn't have to return stuff.

I found out i was having a girl at 20 weeks. They were right! I'm glad too because we got excited and bought almost everything in pink! That would have been bad if she came out a boy. lol

with my first child I had an ultrasound at 17 weeks... was told it was a girl.. 3 weeks later I went back and was like ooops its a boy!. So with my second and third child I waited til my 20th week to get my ultrasound.

I wanted to know soo much but everytime I had an ultrasound they couldn't see because of the umb. cord. I tried to get another ultrasound schedualed for after 30 weeks but since I didn't need it, they wouldn't schedual it. We went by old wives tales, carried high, heart rate over 140, clear complection, all signs of a girl and that's what we had.

At my first ultrasound at 12 weeks they said it looked like it might be a boy, at 20 weeks we saw he was definitely a boy! He was spread eagle in the ultrasound, we could see everything, lol! From people I've talked to, usually if the baby has their legs crossed to where you can't see anything it's a girl. Boys tend to flaunt that fact that they're a boy!

I had a few dreams that I was having a girl. I got 2 ultrasounds at the dr's office at 14 and 20 weeks, both times, conveniently, legs were crossed, so I had to go home and schedule a 3D ultrasound. I found out at 22 weeks that my daughter is a girl

I had an ultra sound at 16 weeks becuase I was measuring over 20. Turns out I was pregnant with identical twin girls. I didn't know they would be able to tell that early, but it was exciting news!

18 weeks with the first child and 17 weeks with the second, and they were both correct. I don't see how anyone can make a sex prediction at anywhere earlier than 16 weeks unless it is done with amniocentisis. Ultrasound technology is just not that advanced.

I found out at 19w4d that I was having a girl and it was correct. I also had complications that allowed me to have a "sex" check each time, so we were always pretty sure it was a girl.

I waited a loooong time. We weren't even going to find out, but then I had to get an ultrasound a week after I hit 34 weeks, due to my having gestational diabetes (they had to check for macrosomia). Anyhoodle, at 36 weeks, the doctor looked at me and said, "Would you like to know the gender?" We had been going to leave it a surprise, but decided "Yeah, let's find out -- why not?" And so the doctor pointed out the little turtle head sticking out! LOL!

I think its about 15/16 weeks where you can find out the sex of the baby. Any time before that they both look the same so you can't tell. I found out at 20 weeks I was having a girl and that was correct.

I found out at 12 weeks because I knew someone at the hospital that did ultrasounds and she took a peek for me.When I went to my 18 week appt for my scheduled ultrasound and found out she was right I had a little girl!

I found out I was having a girl at 20-ish weeks....lol. I forgot exactly how many weeks. The doctor couldn't find her little girl parts because she was sitting upright and her bottem was toward my vagina...they had to do a ultrasound from inside my vagina....The doctor took a picture and circled my daughter's little girl parts and gave us the picture. My Fiance was still questioning her. lol. He wanted a boy =] He is happy with his little girl though.

i found out almost at the end of my pregnancy , they kept having to change my app. date for some reason. one of the tecs. told me she was 100% sure it was going to be a boy at my second to last sonogram, becasue she had all boys and bla bla bla so my husband got all excited telling every one it was a boy , we went on with that in our heads and on the day of my last sonogram as we drove into the hospital i stopped my husband and i said " its a girl!!!" like it had just came to me from somewhere! lol and he was like no way its a boy youll see!. sure enough 100% female! her name is yasmine and shes my world! ;0)

at 20 weeks they were sure about my son but they were not sure wether his twin was a girl or boy becouse they couldent get a clear short but at 26 weeks they were sure and the baby was a girl so they were right boy/girl

I didn't find out the sex of my son, but my sister found out the sex of her daughter. She would have found out the moment she peed on the stick. She went for ultrasound around 20 weeks, was told that they thought the baby was a girl, but couldnt' say for sure. My sister went home and booked a 3D and found out for sure it was a girl.

well i know a few ppl that found out and it was wrong i think someway this is ur baby tellin u u need to wait so if i was u id just wait its a great surprise i didnt find out on mine but i was convinced it was a boy and then i had my little girl and lookin back now if it had of been a boy i think i wuda been a little dissapointed cos it wudnt of been a surprise. bcos uv been told both are u really goin to believe any of them til its here? i know i wouldnt id b thinkin it cud b either so ya should wait no point wreckin ur head over it once urself and the baby are ok thats all that matters good luck

That's kind of unusual for them to try and find out the sex at 7 weeks. I found out my baby was going to be a boy at 18 weeks. They had tried finding out at 15 weeks but couldn't get a good look. They were right on the mark though. And it was clear as day!

With my last 2 I found out at about 20 weeks. First one I was told it was a girl and was confirmed by amnio that it was a girl. With the second same process that time told a boy and confirmed a boy. I believe anything before 20 weeks may not be that accurate.

I found out at 20 weeks that I was having a boy and yes he was a boy. I think 20 weeks in the norm and sometimes the babies don't want us to find out, like crossing their legs or what not. I believe the only 100% way to know is to do an amniocentesis. Good luck, I hope you can find out:)

i believe i was about 19 1/2 weeks and it was correct. but my little guy was very proud of what he had and due to complications i had several ultrasounds, and every one he was laying with his legs wide open....but he would not let us see his face! lol
