Because I wanted to sex to be surprise I had 2 girl and 2 boy names picked before birth.
Samara Isarae Miguelita would have been Victoria Lorilei, or if she were a boy she had the choices of: Darren Jester or Logan Raphael
Brenden Carter Allen had the choice of: Loki Parker, Maddilynn Scarlet or Jetta Leigh.

My daughter was always going to be Angela, right from when I was a teenager, and my husband decided he wanted to have a girl named after me, so Angela Helen. In a way it is quite fortunate that the little girl never came along, as those names don't really go well together - they are difficult to say. In the end I was very happy with my two boys.

I came from a family that named the first boy after the Dad and the first daughter after the Mom. Our first son was William Frederick III, the next son was Daniel Max, the next was our daughter Sarah Lawrence (after myself). She would have been Thomas Scott if she had been a boy. Then came Jeffrey Paul, who would have been Susan Linet. And last came James Scott, if a girl he would have been Mary Michelle after my mother-in-law Mary. So we ended up with Billy, Danny, Sallie(nickname for Sarah), Jeff and Jimmy. We love nicknames!

Before I met my husband, I loved the name Montanna Jordan for a girl or Jordan Scott for a boy. But when I fell pregnant with my beautiful daughter, I wanted to name her after my mum...so her name is Elizabeth Grace. It suits her so well...oh and if she was a boy, he would have been Conner (after my father-in-law) Erling (after my dad.)

My oldest ReNae Vivian would have been Liam Kyle if she had been a boy. ReNae is my Grandma Hunter's name and Vivian is my mom. Kyle was my husband's twin's name.

So my Liam Kyle would have been Laura Emily if he had been a girl. Emily was my husband's Great Grandma Tolman's name.

As far as names for this current pregnancy, we're having a girl and so far don't have a concrete girls name I really like Elizabeth with either Evelyn or Amila for the middle name. Elizabeth is my husband's Great Grandma Quinton's name. Evelyn is my great grandma Kline's middle name, Amila is my great grandma Hunter's middle name. But if she turned out to be a boy the his name will be Roran Bruce. Bruce is my father-in-law's name.

First one was born a girl - Peyton Elizabeth (she hates her name) - she would have been Alexander Joseph is she was a boy (Joseph after dad). Second one was a son - Riley Joseph, if he was a girl it would have been Riley Paige. Third was a girl - Bailey Renee (middle name after me), if she was a boy, it would have been Bailey Eugene (after my husband's father who passed away last August when we got pregnant with her). We chose to not name our kids after anyone (so no one would be offended they weren't the one being named after) and we also wanted the uncommon middle names.
Our first is Hailey Kaitlin. If she would have been a boy, it was going to be Ethan Aaron.
Our 2nd is Alexis Ivy. Ultrasound said girl, but the "just-in-case" boy name was Micah.
Our 3rd is Jacob Kurtis. I knew he was a boy before the ultrasound, but I told my husband if it's another girl, her name was going to be Cambria.

My first child was a girl -- the names were Cecelia Maryruth (Mary and Ruth were our grandmother's names) and Elliott Lawrence (my grandfather. My second child was a boy, so he was Elliott Richard Lawrence (my father in law had passed, so we added his name). If my second had been a girl, she would have been Charlotte Nicole Emile, for a dear friend that passed right before he was born and my other grandmother. We would have called her Charlie.:) But we love having one of each!

PS Elliott was the only boy name we could agree on, so if they had both been boys we would have had a problem! (but I wanted Charlie Nicholas)

My daughter, Jocey Marie, would have been named JoDean John if she was a boy. "Jo" from a family member that passed away, billy Joseph. Dean is the fathers middle name and John is my fathers middle name as well as the fathers brothers first name. it would have been a perfect combo :)

we were doen to two names, Chloe and Sophia. We found out Milo was a boy at 6 months so we never made a decision how to put the two together i.e. Chloe Sophia, Sophia Chloe or something combination of the two. I also have a daughter Morgan Rose that would have been Dawson Issac and my other son, John Marc Jr. would have been Savannah Rose (Rose is my middle name and I wanted it carried on)

We have 6 daughters;Lauren Elizabeth, Caroline Joanne, Susan Marie, Victoria Elaine, Melissa Yvonne, and Emma Kathleen. The corresponding boys names would have been;Adam Christopher, Jack Peter, Nicholas Joshua, Joshua Robert, Benjamin David, and Jack Lewis. Obviously if some had been boys we would have changed some names so we didn't have any duplicates. We had really hoped for a boy on the 6th one to name him after our 2 fathers who had passed away 5-6 years earlier.
