if you already had a boy what would have been the name if you had a girl and vice versa?. we had two boys, jason beau and justin michael.. if they had been girls we had jessica marie and lorraine grace, would have called her grace, lorraine is my moms name

taht was also my problem when i gave birth to my third child. i thought i was carrying a baby boy.. i didn't had an ultra sound because i wanted it to be surprise since i already had 2 girls prior to her. we even had a name for her if she was a boy (Alonzo Matthew) it took me days to process her birth cert. since we don't have any back-up name if that will be a girl. Good thing my 4th child was already a boy so no need to think for a name, and this time I already had my ultrasound just to make sure..

if we would of had a girl we would have named her beverly ann after her grandmother who passed away when her father was a baby. but we have a boy John Bentley and we're truly blessed! :)

For some reason I knew my first was a boy from the moment we got pregnant so no back up names.
This time around I was convinced we were having a girl so Madyson Nicole was the name until week 18 when we had an ultrasound confirm it's another boy.

We were going to call our first child Jordan if we had a boy, but we had girl Emmilie.

I have a boy whose name is John Curtis, there was never a question on what our boys name would be as he is a third! But if it was a girl she would have been Kimberly Blaire, and I would have called her Blaire (Kimberly is also my moms name!).

We have two girls...our boy's name was John Alexander, but we would call him Jack...John is my husbands name and my Dad's name is Jack Alexander...maybe the next one will be a boy! (although I do love being a mom of girls)

Names are so much fun! :) I have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl
Mitchell Robert would have been: Kiersten Paige
Ryan Daniel would have been: Morgan Paige
Addison Paige would have been: Brett Anthony...because my husband didn't like: Ian Brennan (which was my next 1st choice in boys!) :)
Funny isn't it, how you have back up names...or opposite sex names yet you never use them for the "next" same sex child....funny how that works.
I like MANY MANY names....Joselyn Paige was one of our picks too...LOVE IT! But you obviously only have ONE to pick as a final! ;)

Our Daughter's name is Taylor Rae and if she would of been a boy Bryson Allan Gilles...I really liked the name bryce but know to many bryce's so decided on Bryson and Allan is my husbands middle name and Gilles is my dad who past away 5 yrs ago and him and i were really close!

My daughter, Evelynn Grace, was "supposed" to be a boy. We had the name Nathanial Isaac picked out. It is flexible in the nick name department.... Nate, Nathan, go punk with Nate Dog :) but i am happy with my Evie bug!

For a girl we had Sydney or Norah. But I got all three young boys:
Isaiah Austin Brian Cecil
Ethan John Arthur Leo
Eli Matthew Mark Aaron
All three of them have 3 middle names only because when my first son passed away I would look in the paper and one day I found a 98 year old man passed away with the exact same name as my son from the first name to the last name. So I thought a bunch of middle names would stop that from happening again.

First child: Jonathan Isaac would have been Katrina Margaret
Second Child: Katrina Margaret- had several ultrasounds and different technicians say she was a girl... I don't think we ever had a backup boy name concrete for her. Might have been Jeremiah David- I can't remember.
Third Child: Eliana Joyce would have been Caleb Jeremiah if she'd been a boy. (I adore her to pieces but had been kinda hoping to be surprised with a boy even after the ultrasounds so I had a name picked out for my hopeful 'him')

Our daughter is Fay-Lynne Anna, if we would have had a boy it would have been Peter Reedie, Reedie being after my grandpa, Peter after my fiance's grandpa, and if we have a boy in the future that will most likely be his name.
