If your skin is itchy and sensitive, most lotions will make it worse instead of better. I found a Neutrogena Vitamin E oil that was light (not greasy), reasonably priced, and didn't flare up my excema.

I heard milk helped someone. I tried many things when I was pregnant. I had a case of itchy tummy, and itchy arms. Tummy went away after I had my daughter, but my arms are still like that. They arn't dry though. I have excema also. I try using my prescription cream but it doesn't work.

My daughters pediatrician said to use the Aveeno baby unscented lotion for her, and myself. So far it works okay. It makes the itching a little less itchy.

My belly did most of its growing during the winter, so I was really itchy all the time. I used Palmer's cocoa butter lotion. It worked great and kind of smelled like suntan lotion, so I could close my eyes and imagine I was at the beach too :) For areas that itch REALLY badly, for me was the inside of my ankles, I would put ice cubes directly on for a minute or two and that helped a ton.

If you use a natural cold pressed oil like sweet almond oil. It will absorb into your skin without leaving an oily feeling. Since it is all natural, it will be better for your skin and you can also use it on your babies. The best time to apply is right after getting out of the shower. Hope this helps.

My skin is pretty dry too. What I'm using now is the vaseline brand intense rescue body butter (it's in a white round container). It seems to last a LOT longer than lotion (which quite frankly didn't seem to do much for me). It's pretty thick which is probably why. You should give that a try.

i use suave skin therapy advanced therapy moisturizer i also have dry skin mostly hands but i use it everyday anytime i need it i love it when my feet are dry i use to maybe 2 or 3 nights or so and my feet wont be dry for a very long time again it works great on any part of the body and best thing is its CHEAP i got a big bottle and its like 2 or3 bucks for it it might even be cheaper than that i am still on my first big bottle it last long ive probably had it for hmm atleast 3 months i want to say 4 or 5 months i use it everyday several times aday so i know that it does last long its at walmart and really does work wonders best kind of lotion i have tried to use and i tried several i hope this helps suave also has many others but i find this one works awesome for me with extreamly bad/dry skin
