I think Marlee Jo would be good. What about a godparents name or middle name?

maybe using an elders name as a middle name would mix it up.

I don't want to rain on your parade but all the name books say that if you want a name that sounds good to the ear, the first and last names should not have the same number of syllables. Would you consider Marlee for the middle name and the first name have one or three syllables? Like Anne Marlee...

Don't know if this will be helpful or not but... I like middle names to have meaning. I think it's important to pick a first name you really like and obviously you don't have too much choice about the last name but the middle name is kind of flexible. Maybe there's a family member you want to honor or a place that is significant to you. Things like that make great middle names because they have a story and meaning. I like for names to flow too but other than Graduation and a few formal events, you hardly ever hear your full name so I don't think that aspect is as important.
I read Marlee and thought Marlee Marie. But then your last name is McCoy and if that's her last name it'll be all M's, even though I like the ring too it. lol
I thought naming my son was the hardest thing ever. We didn't officially decide on a name until after he was born and we were filling out the birth certificate :) But we knew as soon as he was born that it was the right name for him. You'll know too :) Good Luck!
