My son is 10 months old, I want to really start feeding him table food but i dont know the right way or what to start him on. Being a new mom can be challenging when it comes to the kind of stuff. I would appreciate some advice...

Oh and I also fed some baby food in between to make sure he got enough nutrience. At first I was just happy to get him chewing but if all he had for dinner were french fries I'd usually feed him a jar of green beans and a jar of apples to balance it out.

Soup with crackers mixed in, applesauce, just about any kind of pasta, really well cooked vegetables such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, or carrots, toast, waffles, bananas, cheerios or you can even buy baby puffs they're a little softer, the baby cheesies, cereal bars, grapes, french fries with the ends taken off. I just cut everything up small for him and gradually made the pieces a little bit bigger over time.

Breads and pastas are good. They are easily digested and are soft enough for them to chew even with no teeth.

Here is a basic list of finger foods that I started my kid on so that he could get use to eating. While he was having fun trying to pick these up I would feed baby food to him to make sure he got enough to eat.

Bananas, Cherrios, mac-n-cheese, noodles, peas, green beans (out of the can so they are nice and mushy), mandrine oranges

Once he was good at these I just gave him a little bit of whatever we were having all cut up
