going on my baby formula you are meant to start them at six months but it doesn't hurt not to change them at all. My baby for some reason can't handle the stage 2 formula so i have to keep her on the birth one. Chemist said as long as she is eating a broad range from dairy, fruit, veg and cereal and meat she will get her nutrition. The stage 2 has a little more of certain vitamins and minerals for growth as well as extra calories for increased energy needs. I hope this helps.

the formula containers say from 6mths. however my daughter was unable to start taking it until about 10mths.. As Jodie Anderson said you dont actually need to change the formula.

My daughter was in S-26 GOLD until she went to the 2stage and she was then on normal Nutricia (not sure if spelling is right)

My children were 9 months each when I started stage 2..Nestle Goodstart "Natural Cultures" is the best formula on the market in my mind!
