Both of my boys slept in their cribs their first day home & every day since!! I have had no problems with either, my oldest boy was in his toddler bed at 18 months!

My little girl slept in a co-sleeper bassinet or in bed with me until she was six months old and then she moved into her big girl crib. No problems with the switch over, and I really loved having her so close to me so I could check on her. But with 3 I would think cribs probably would be easier.

My daughter slept in my bed until she was 12months, I loved it and she did too naps where in her crib from the day she came home but night sleeping was always with mom. I think I cried as much as she did during the transition to her crib. She  is now 13 and opn bad days will ask if she can sleep with me. Of course i say yes!! So I guess it should be when do we stop letting them sleep with us?

I put all three of mine in the crib as soon as we brought them home; although, they weren't all born at the same time like yours.  I needed the privacy of my own room and space without the babies with me constantly.  I suggest you do what makes you feel comfortable.  You are their mom, and you will know in your heart what works for you.

She moved to a crib when her little footie toes (god, baby talk? to an adult? sheesh, i need to get out more) started touching the end of her bassinet. they make those smallish, i think. but yeah. hospital to bassinet to crib. do not pass go, only time she is ever in the bed with me is in a hotel. and even then i sometimes have a pack 'n play with me.

The day we brought her home...she had a crib in our room (her room is upstairs) - we moved her upstairs to her crib in her room @ 1 year.

Quoting Jen:

My first one was probably 3 months or so. That is only because it was my first and I was so used to having him with me 24/7. So, after he was born, I couldn't sleep without him. There was no father present at that time so it was easy to have my son sleep with me.

My second son was not allowed in bed with me because his father said he should be in his crib. He had a hard time sleeping and to this day wakes up at 3am on the nose. Not sure of any corrolations.

I did the same thing with both of my boys and my oldest slept through the night (at least 6 hours in a row) from about 1 month old, my youngest woke me up at least once until about 2 years old.  So probably no correlation to what you do, just every baby different...

We tried the Pack N Play in our room for like two nights, and then she went in the crib in her room because she did NOT sleep in Pack N Play...Not that she sleeps in her room either...Her room is only just down the hall though.

At about 5 months...but when ever is just as good! I know people who have their kids sleep with them until much later age, and some that start off in a crib from the first night! It's really a personal preference...and there is no right or wrong time!

never did! we prefer to have her sleeping in our bed (and she prefers it too!) looks like you have triplets? or 3 babies close in age? if you are interested in bed sharing you might look into a king size bed or putting two twins together the opposite direction. also putting the mattress on the floor is a good option- find what works! Some of my friends have been really creative. One put an open sided crib up against the wall flush with the bed... good luck!

I had a pack-n-play in our bedroom to begin with, and then a crib later. My son always slept in his own crib since day 1. This is because my husband and I are deep sleepers, and we were always scared of rolling over. Even though I'm sure we would've woke up, we never wanted to chance it, so we never got our son used to sleeping with us. We would only sleep together at naptime or on the couch so we didn't miss out on doing that.

The minute they came home from the hospital.  My bed was sacred territory and I didn't want to have to try weaning them out of my bed along with all the other weaning that would ultimately be necessary - binky, nursing...

Now that they're older they sleep in my bed every once in a while and we call it a slumber party, but now I'm a single mom so all the rules have changed.

I started my boy in the crib about 2 1/2 months old. And right now he is on a schedule of going to bed between 11-12pm and waking up at 6-7am.

My son didn't start sleeping in his crib until about a month ago!  He slept in his bassient the first 2 months, out grew that. Then he ended sleeping in our bed until I started putting him back in his own bed. We needed sleep and he sleeps better in his own bed as well!  He is now almost 6 months old!

We put Lilah in the crib at 1 month.  She has been doing great ever since.  We figured the sooner we started , the better.

My son is 4 months old and we have had him in his room since he was 3 months old, but still in a swing base in his crib (he has reflux so we had to elevate him . We just moved him last week to his crib and he is sleeping really well in there now!

Day ONE!! I have 2 boys and they probably didn't want to (it's always better with mommy) but they had to for my own peace and rest! Just put them in and walk away, there will be cries, tears and maybe even a scream of contempt, but you can do it!! Be strong

My 2 1/2 month old girly sleeps in her crib right next to our bed.  She would sleep in the bed with us, but a full size just isn't big enough.  It's much easier for me to get up in the night to feed her if she is right there.  I can't imagine her sleeping in another room!

My children started sleeping in the crib as soon as I brought them home. While

babies tend to sleep longer cuddled up next to you, it will be a bit of a challenge

getting your child to sleep in his or her own room once he or she gets older.

My daughter started sleeping all night in her crib on her 1 month anniversary! I had to pinch myself at 3am when she was still sleeping! Its the only place she sleeps soo soundly. Its amazing how much better she does being in her own room in her own bed. We can have people over and the dogs can bark and it doesnt phase her when she is down for the night in her crib!

Its fantastic! I'm very lucky she was soo easy!

At 3 months. We had kind of made a pack that after Christmas holidays, at 3 months, we would transition her to lying on her back in the crib rather than sleeping part sitting up in a swing. It was hard. She went from sleeping 5-6 hrs to sleeping only 2 hrs at a time. But now she's back to starting the night sleeping 4 hrs before waking and feeding. I think she just took some time to accept being lying flat. At first it was hard to put her down too without her tossing and wriggling and waking up. Now she knows what it is and lets me put her down a lot easier.

For my son we couldn't afford nor had the space for a crib. We were given a bedside crib which worked well up until he began waking up frequently because he seemed cramped. He was getting too big for it and we had to change some things around to make a new crib fit. He is now sleeping in a crib. We got him into it at 5months.

I put my daughter in her crib for naps ( so she would get used to it) and she slept in a bassinet next to me during the night. Around 4 months old, I started putting her in the crib for night time sleep as well and then brought her back to my bedroom after the first feeding...( It seemed to cold to feed her in her room!)

Around 5 months...I got rid of the bassinet and she is always in her crib and loves it. and so do me and my husband :)

My baby slept in his crib from the day we brought him home from the hospital until now. He does great. He's been sleeping through the night since he was 2.5 months old! I'd say the sooner the better!

Both kids were in the cradle for the first 2 months in our room and then transferred to their cribs. They always took naps in their cribs though. The angelcare monitor really helped though, I didn't have to worry as much. :)
