No my doctor was never concerned because she had found a way to get around that worked for her. She is now 2 1/2 and fine, she's actually more coordinated than her 6 year old brother, she is on the move from the time she gets up till she goes to bed.

She was also a late talker at 2 she wasn't speaking 50 words but could sign that many. The doctor told us to wait 3 months and have her assessed if she wasn't speaking more, almost overnight she started speaking sentences. All babies are different and she's not my first, I was concerned with the verbal language delay more than her crawling because I knew once she got moving she wouldn't stop.

My girls were 7 months army crawling and 8 months hands and knees. My son was 5 months army crawling and 6 months hands and knees. I had 3 fairly early developers though.

I will tell you that this past Sunday I saw two 9 month old babies at my church... born within about 2 weeks of each other. One was crawling all over, pulling up to standing, grabbing at anyone and anything he could get his hands on. The other was perfectly content to sit on her butt and clap her hands or play with whatever anyone handed her. They are BOTH perfectly normal.

If you are concerned.... definitely ask your doctor about it. Otherwise just try and be patient and let him develop at his own rate. :)

He is 9 months. He still can't sit and crawl properly. He falls all the time. And can't balance when standing.

I am lucky that you were the first who replied)) Thanks) Maybe I really shouldn't worry so much.

How old is she now? Is everything ok with her health? 13 months is very late for this step of developmet. Or was it just her individual pace? What did doctors say? I worry too much. My son is very slow too (( So, I wonder whether he is fine or not. though the doctors cant find anything unususal

13 months, then the next day she let go of the furniture and just started walking everywhere. Before that she used to scoot around while sitting on her butt, she was really efficient at it.
