when they speak of milk i think they mean cow milk... which I wouldn't cut out unless it gives your little ones problems... the fat in whole milk helps develope your little one's brain... they say to give 1yo whole milk and continue to give whole milk until about 2-3yo. adults though do not need milk, they can suppliment calcium ANYWHERE. I would never restrict a child's dairy intake... once they are one you can give them yogurt as a serving, 2 cheese cubes as a serving of dairy, and at snack time a small cup of whole milk. your chicken breast with cream sauce should be a sufficient amount of dairy (concidering you put milk in the cream sauce

At 7.5 months old 'most' babies could still thrive perfectly fine on just breast milk or formula. Nothing wrong with giving her solids if she is interested in them, but breast milk or formula 'should' still be offered first. Food before one is just for fun.... new taste experiences and learning how to eat. The bulk of their nutrition comes from their milk (breast milk or appropriate infant formula) still.

It depends on what age of a baby you are talking about. Under a year... breast milk or formula 'should' always be offered before any solids. Over a year... you can offer milk with meals... or not.
All of my kids are older, so if they want milk with a meal they get it and if they don't... they don't.

how old are you talking? I wouldn't introduce meats until they are a little older... at some point i wouldn't offer milk at meal times... perhaps when they are 2 or so. they only need 3 dairy servings a day... offer milk with breakfast or snack, and at lunch offer cheese cubes or yogurt... and at breakfast offer yogurt with granola, and you have 3 servings of dairy, and that is all they need

She is 7 month and a half , I have read that milk and dairy are bad combination ! also for adults , and even I have read as well that eating fruits immediately after eating meat is bad too. here are articles about it dairy and meat. perhaps I'm too much complicating things ? the truth is that I don't know what is right concerning this issue, sometimes I make for example chicken breast with cream frésh sauce. but when I wanted to give her the bottle before the meat I felt like it will be bad mix for her tiny stomach, in any how , thank you for sharing your experiences :)

she is 7 months and a half , I gave her meat mixed with peas and sweet potatoes and didn't offer her milk , the doctor insisted that it is important to start her on meats and dairy last months but I have started a couple of days ago. I live in Paris.
