Who loves their pregnancy body?

I'm just kinda curious. I love my body when I am pregnant, and really don't understand why some women think they are fat when pregnant.

During my pregnancy, I had good days and I had bad days. I looked very good for a pregnant woman.. I gained 26lbs and it was all in the front, so if you looked at me from behind you couldn't even tell. But, I was the only pregnant one with all of my skinny friends, so every time we walked past a store window or something I was like "whoaa I'm huge!" lol. Looking back, though, and comparing myself to my once skinny friends who have gone through pregnancies by now, I think I looked pretty good.

I love some bits of my pregnancy body (currently 30 weeks) and I hate others!
I've only gained about 6kg in total and it's all baby! From the back you can't tell I'm pregnant - except for the recently developed waddle! My butt has gotten a little flatter - but that's ok. My boobs are now a degree below awesomeness - which I love! I love my baby bump like a basketball under my shirt!
Only downside is my legs - my pins were always good -now my ankles are swollen and I've got so many veins in my legs etc. that I think i'll be fake tanning for a while after bubs out to hide some of them!
All in all - 2 kids and no stretchmarks - I'm reasonably happy!!

Yeah, I'm with you Rachel...pregnancy hasn't been good to my appearance. I feel way more exhausted so I have circles, while I like my pregnancy shape I don't like what's under the clothes (stretch marks galore), I feel like my face is chubbier, and my first trimester for both pregnancies gave me the worst acne I've ever had in my life.

Wow...I guess I'm the oddball here but I hated my pregnancy body because before that I had a pretty cute body with a nice tan and felt comfortable in a bikini all with little to no effort. When I got pregnant I got huge stretch marks, swollen calfs and feet, chubby cheeks and chin, dry skin, dry hair....all I could think about was having my baby and couldn't understand why people loved being pregnant and missed their prego belly!! I'm still trying to get in shape a year and a half after my son was born and hope that with my next pregnancy I'll be much more fit and that it won't destroy my skin so bad!!

I gained weight long before having my son so maybe I was just use to being heavy, but I loved having that big tummy!! And I never hid it either; I wore the tightest shirts appropriate!! I think maybe if you are extremely thin and in the first trimester, it would be tough to get use to, but that is just the wonderful sacrifice we all make!! I may not have any more children, but oh how I would love to be carring a little one again! I still rub my belly (not gone yet, but def. not as cute, LOL!) when I am sitting down, without realizing it :)

Yep, felt the same way, Sarah. Loved my body when pregnant, but not, too, happy with it afterwards. Then again I have gained a good 70lbs since my first baby. I would say 10lbs. with each baby, but more from the first. I have 5. I just need to get motivated enough to do something about it.

I loved being pregnant and feeling the baby move around. All 3 pregnancies were my most favorite times of my life!
