If you find that it persists then it could be a sign of imflamation of the bowel (irritable bowel syndrome, or even coelaic disease, try reducing high fibre foods such as weetabix and dairy if it still persists ask your doctor for a referral to hospital for tests, you can never be too careful with this sort of thing, my son has a bowel problem that is slowly healing, he unfortunately got bacteria into his bowel (from a public swimming pool yrs back as a toddler)that imflamed the lining and now its just time to heal as he grows and thats nearly 10yrs ago! its just case of watching his diet

My little boy has diarrhea on and off and we've gotten something that has really helped. First, mine does drink a lot of apple juice and OJ and so we cut the juice with water. But the thing that has really helped a lot is a probiotic powder that we put into his drink once a day. No taste and helps the good bacteria in the intestine. i get mine from Earth Fare or another whole food place or any health food store. they have a bunch of brands. We're using Jarrow Formula's right now. Just read the labels and follow instructions. It really was a great help to us!!! I also have found in the dairy aisle of Publix, a "chocolate bar" that is probiotic. My son is 4 years old and I'll hide these and give him 1/2 bar for "dessert" sometimes. Hope this helps!

My son was having a lot of diarrhea and the doctor recommended that I try removing dairy from diet for a while to see if it made a difference. If no change then try back on dairy and do gluten free to see if that helps. As soon as I took gluten out of his diet his bowel motions became firm. Good Luck and keep trying. If doctors not helping maybe try another.

how old is ur toddler? is he still teething? They can get diarrhea, drooling, fever, and so on.
my son will be 2 in sept and is still gettin his teeth so that might be something to think about. And Rhionna is right as well apple juice is pretty strong and i have always cut my sons juice with a little bit of water.

my daughter is almost 2 and she always had it i asked the dr over and over again what was wrong he said she just sick but i know she was not sick...so i then took her to my dr to see what he said he told me to try her on soy milk (i get so good vanille)for a few day 3 at the most..so i did it went away with in a few hours of having some...i then put her back on 2% milk and it all happend again i said forget this and now my daughter dont drink no milk or milk products her father cant have it and i never been told i should not have milk products i still dont feel good after i have it..so i know what your going though i hope you lil one gets better soon and hang in there///

That was a suspicion of mine.  He does drink a lot of juice...I try to limit his juice/fruit intake but I'm afraid it may be too much..thank you!
