Help please. My 2 1/2 year old son keeps taking off his diaper and peeing on the floor. I've tried potty training a few times but he has no interest. It's driving me crazy and I don't know what to do.

1.) Have him clean the mess up!
2.) Take him to the store to buy "big boy undies". We bought 4 packages (2 with animals and 2 with "Disney people". The dogs and dinosaurs would bite him when he messed in them and the "people" would be disappointed in him since he messed in them. Worked like a charm.
3.) While at the store, buy extra laundry soap as you will need it.
4.) Lots of patience!

Time to start potty training! This is his way of telling you he is ready so put some big boy pants on him and give it a try. For boys putting some fruit loops in the toilet works well or get a goody jar with random things in that he likes and only when he actually goes does he get a goody from the jar. I would not suggest pull ups unless you go out because they are just the same as diapers.

my son just started that yesterday! its already driving me nuts. except he wants to do it when he has to poop and then poops on my floor! i actually started potty training today, and he's doing really well with it so far. but since yours is not into the potty training yet, you could put a onesie on him under all of his other clothes, it makes it a little harder to get the diaper off. you could put the diaper on backwards, also. good luck.
